The taller one looks like the robot from Forbidden Planet.
Lost In Space. You’re thinking of Robbie, who was in a bunch of movies (usually with a change to his head.)
Yah, but I think Robbie was originally in Forbidden Planet (1956) ?
Ding, ding, ding, ding! You are correct! He has his own IMDB page.
yea that would make sense but then again I have been told I have no sense lol! one day I will do the smart thing!
Just to be clear. both Robbie and the B-9 robot (pictured above) were designed by the same guy. the B-9 robot was not a “re-use” of Robbie. similar but not the same. Robbie did make two appearences in Lost in space as two different robots (called in the show Robotiod’s)

the B-9 -
it is very similar to confusing the Baldwin brothers, it understandable but there is a difference.
Two more floral pics… these may be dropping off since most of the really spectacular blooms in my area appear to have passed.
For May 7, I ask you all: what kind of bush is this? They are all over my area and no one seems to know what they are when I ask. I’ve seen them in all shades of pink, red, purple, and white.
May 8 is another (to me) anonymous flowering plant. I have to admit, I took this picture a few days ago, when the rain was unrelenting.
Another pic from my Phone from work and yes I have toys at work… and yes I am a big geek!
Took a picture of my Tv while watching Hockey. It almost looks like I am at the game!
Go Bruins! Beat Whalers!
yea I am routing for Bruins but I normally do like the caines as long as they are not playing my team!
also great knowing there are more hockey fans on gwc and impressive u remember the cains where once whalers!
From a shoot i helped a film student on. Got to play with my hot lights.
My elitist cheeseburger lunch, with such bourgeois condiments as dijon mustard and bacon! Take that, working-class common man!
I’m not a die-hard hockey fan… I was a casual fan when I was in college, but then I stopped following when the asshole of a new owner wrecked the team with his short-sighted douchebaggery. But I’m a fan of Boston sports in general, so I maintain a passing interest in B’s well-being.
But one thing’s for sure: Hartford Whalers will always be the Hartford Whalers to me. Especially when they are playing the Bruins. You cannot just move a hockey franchise to a city that’s never seen a piece of ice not in their sweet tea cup, and expect people to take it seriously.
Frakin’ A right!
Nice burger shot, BTW.
Beat that! I had dijon mustard on a sandwhich the other day with ARUGALA too.
If you add a nice glass of wine to that… who am I kidding, I’m the child of urban intellectuals. That’s normal food, right?
