And I agree Frakkintalos, this little gathering was a lot of fun 
I am so sorry I had to miss it, but my family thanks you. My wife and I had a good laugh about it…at moments when a sibling would do something stupid I would turn to her and say, “You know…I could always just drive into the city and hang with my buddies at Ashtons” and we would laugh.
Glad to hear the location worked out. I got nervous when I saw that there was a private party.
Chuck took them at the end of the night, so I am sure he will post him when he has a chance. They are in the NE all week for various work commitments.
We did, we did.
CT and I stopped by about 4:15 and made reservations for us just in case, but it turned out we didn’t really need them.
I had a blast last night hanging out with Chuck and Sean and the NYC Crue last night. Even if I didn’t get home until 3 am (an hour and a half on the train and one medical emergency on the subway later and the 30 minute drive home) but it was oh so worth it.
Awesome! Should I ever get to be part of a meet-up, I’ll have to bring a little sign or wear a t-shirt with those initials.

See now usually after a night like that I’m labeled a (sorryBarb)hat or (sorryBarb)hole. It just goes to prove the gracious understanding and patience of the GWC community. Then again, we haven’t heard Chuck or Sean’s take on it.

I can only assume now that FT hit the scotch bottle a little too hard. A lot?
Anyway, don’t sweat it, happened to me too one time. We were partying after HS graduation at a friend of mine’s and I was already a little tipsy when someone produced a bottle of cheap bourbon. The problem was that I ended up being the only one who drank the whiskey while the other guys refilled their glasses with peach ice tea. I was so drunk I didn’t realize that.
Well, I didn’t pass out or anything. I made as much sense I would normally. Hmmm, that’s not helping. Anyway, I just kept ordering Scotch and they kept bringing them. What was I supposed to do? Not drink them? But as I mentioned, you need to get the perspective of an another source. I didn’t think I was too obnoxious but with my track record that doesn’t count for much.
Raemani or DarkTerritory might be good sources to ask.
Did you break anything? Do we have to expect new offspring in nine months?
Hmmpph…I’m so jealous. Would that I coulda figured out a way to get down to NYC for the meet-up.
I’m fan of scotch too. And I’ve tried pretty expensive scotch and rare scotch etc. But I’m tellin’ ya, Dewar’s White Label, even though it ain’t fancy, it’s good enough for me—and it has the strange quality that it doesn’t give you a hangover.
