Lincoln Center is on 68th street and broadway, 4 stops up the 1 train from penn station (1 train to 66th street.) It’s the AMC Lincoln Square 13.
Well i know I’ll be going and will be in Penn by 11. Where you want to meet in there?
The AMC Lincoln Square 13 sounds a little better than the 34th Street one, but the 34th street one has the benefit of being closer to Penn station and Tir Na Nog, which is a great place to go. I’m undecided on 2D vs. 3D. So, what does everyone think?
Either place works for me. Subway is good to get to Lincoln Center. I haven’t been to any of the theathers though. Have to rely on the people in the city for the recommendation.
One thing, when did Nog open a restaurant?:p:D
There are actually 3 choices -
2D regular (34th Street 12:30)
2D IMAX (Lincoln Center 12:50)
3D IMAX (I believe available at both in the time frame)
My choice is Non-3D, but I don’t have a preference on which theater. I have not been to Lincoln Square, but based on where it is either works.
The consensus on FB was 34th St, but that was before I realized it was a non-IMAX showing, haven’t heard from anyone since I posted that info over there.

That sounds like a plan. Thoughts on where? I am coming NJ transit, and Badger is coming in on Amtrak, so I am thinking the open area rotunda area (trying and failing to remember what stores are there, I should have paid attention more when I was there yesterday)
The 12:30 at 34th street is 3D and non-IMAX. When did movies become so complicated? Lol.
I vote we just go there anyway, since it is much eaiser and we need to make a decision one way or another.
Ok I’ll put in for Tim Hortons. It’s right next to the rotunda waiting area in the Amtrak terminal. It also has plenty of seating so if any of us gets there early we can wait without standing around. I know what you mean about paying attention. Every once in awhile i’ll get discombobulated as to where I am and what i’m looking for there.
Like I said before i’m good with either. At this point though they are pushing the 3d option hard. So more then likely that’s what we will see.

So I was really confused -
the 12:30 pm at 34th Street is IMAX 2D, which I think is what we want.
Since this one is most convenient I am making an executive decision - We will go to the 12:30 at 34th Street
Most of us are meeting in Penn around 11 am at Tim Horton’s near the rotunda outside Amtrack and NJ Transit. After that we will walk over to the movies - planning on being outside the movie by 12 noon at the latest.
Then afer the movie we will head back around the corner to Tir Na Nog for an early dinner and hanging out/discussing the movie.

But it doesn’t look like they allow online ordering…so I guess we walk over there and buy tickets after we meet at Penn. It is 1 short block and 1/2 a long block from Penn (I think you were with us the last time we were there - for Iron Man 2 I believe)

At this point there is some confusion over whether it is 3D or not…but it is the 12:30 showing we are planning on doing.

So Tir Na Nog? I Always prefered Stout, they have that great apple dessert and the pulled Pork with Pineapple Chuttney sandwich that I love. (Also known as the Corinary #2 Starter sandwich.)
