Aaron Douglas is there on Friday for a panel but I won’t be able to make that (working sucks). Sadly I don’t see any other BSG guests attending this year. Has any one heard otherwise?
For now I am going on Sunday which is kids day and suspect I’ll be spending time hanging out with the TNMTs. If something changes and they add some BSG I might also head in on Saturday.
Well it looks like I am going Friday evening and Saturday.
Aaron is supposed to be there Friday night and early Saturday
Tahmoh Peniket is scheduled for a Dollhouse Panel
Mark Sheppard and his dad Morgan Sheppard will be signing at one of the booths
and Eve Miles will be there for a Torchwood Panel (and I am sure signing some where along the line.
I am know I am going to the Aaron panel (for Emmisary), the Eve Miles/TW Panel and hopefully the Dollhouse panel (although this one is questionable)
Hey, I am considering going for Saturday only, but I have never been to this Con before. Outside of the programing on the schedule and the dealers room, what else goes on? I see some of the guests are only listed on the schedule for one pannel, will they be doing Q and As and/or autographs? Also, why does the schedule only go until 7:00pm?
The only convention I have ever been to is I-Con, which is on a college campus on Long Island, which seems quite different then this.
Well I have never been to this con either…so I don’t know how much help I will be but I am thinking this is not like ICon (or most other fan run conventions). this one seems more commercial, like Comic Con in San Diego.
I know Aaron is signing at somepoint, but it is not listed anywhere. Many of the signings happen at the various booths as far as I can tell and not in one general area. They still seem to have an autograph area, but not all of the guests are listed as signing.
I would say that 7 pm is when the booths all close up. This is more like a normal business convention then a scifi convention - at least that is my impression. It is more about showing off new merchandise then the guests that attend. Not that this is a bad thing, just different
I went last year. It’s like. On the ground floor is all the panel rooms. Then there’s a big area for companies showing off stuff above it then another room that’s people and not companies sellin stuff. <_< I got a bsg patch last year.
