I don’t want to get to the theate too late cuz I heard if you get bad seats in an iMax viewing, it sux.

I was planning on showing up @ 1pm to meetup with Topgun et al. We could get lunch and chill before the show.

unfortunately I won’t be able to make it… as early as most of you are. i’ll probably get there around 3:45 or so, perhaps later.

i only ask that if someone goes to save seats inside the theater that they save 5 seats for me if possible. im bringing friends!

Hey all, had a great time meeting everyone and putting faces to Forum names. (I’m still having a little problem connecting real names to faces though…)

That being said, I think I’ll probably be leaving the “Northeasterners! Star Trek May 8th-9th, 2009” social group, because, honestly, been there, done that. :smiley:

Well, big surprise! The GWC Northeasterners New York Star Trek Meetup was a Frakking Vulcan blast! Upon arrival, we found each other easily, thanks to the wonder of cellphones and Twitter. It was so great to see old friends, and meet new ones. As is to be expected, we quickly settled into a relaxing, fun groove, and talked each other’s ears off, shared stories, discussed our favorite science fiction, and laughed often.

The final line-up was RMHPH/Badger, Raemani, Frakkintalos, Mrs Frakkintalos, Wavilyem, ATGreat, Craprica, LisaMarie514, BSGWidow, and myself. A couple of Wavilyem’s friends also joined us, as well as Craprica’s folks. Needless to say, we OWNED Times Square for a few hours! OK, nobody noticed us. But we had fun.

Terrific Pictures, thanks so much for posting. It was an awesome day I am so glad that I went and saw a terrific movie with a wonderful group of people!
