So Smith just keeps self-replicating - but I don’t get how the objects of his replication are involved, I mean are they just obliterated or does he absorb their ‘power’ or programming or whatever?
I remember why I wasn’t a huge fan of this one… it doesn’t hold my attention the way the first Matrix does, and as a consequence, I get confused. And let me tell you guys, I’m not someone who usually gets confused by movies.
I wonder if the RW Smith is connected to the Matrix like Neo is.

i believe he is writing his code over the old programs. The Smith that answered her question about what happened to her was Sati. I think from now on we can consider the Smith talking (unless it is Bane) to be the Oracle. It is a film that definitely takes several watchings to get.

Yeah I’m bit confused with this movie too. Why is Neo going to “The Source” again? To convince it not to kill Zion?
I never did understand why Trinity dies at the end of this movie and yet it was a big deal to save her in the last one. It just makes what happened in the last movie pointless IMO.

Agreed. It was so sad to hear that the original actress has died. But this one did well in this somewhat more “god-like” role, IIRC.
I do like this scene and Neo becoming blind. Kind of like the blind wise man you see a lot in Japanese stories.
