If you are willing to put up with Crysis, Spore, etc., spam, EA can let you know when they have a sale on their titles. Their last sale ended January 20th. I keep it as a updater for DA and ME news. I got ME1 for nearly $7, but I’ve seen it as low as $5.
The new issue of GameInformer has started to hit mailboxes for subscribers and since they have a huge spread on ME3 there will be some new info coming out. I haven’t read the whole article yet as my digital copy of the magazine hasn’t hit my inbox but it does confirm several of the squadmates for ME3.
Still hoping for Miranda and Kal’Reegar for my Chuck Sheppard.
EDIT: Found a quick summary of the article, and
[spoiler]
Squadmates confirmed so far:
Liara
Kaiden or Ashley
Garrus (if survived)
Some new guy

EA and FUNimation Entertainment, the leading distributor of Japanese animation, have announced today they’re working with T.O. Entertainment to produce a Mass Effect anime feature film. The film will be based in the Mass Effect universe, and, “will tell the tale of an epic science fiction adventure set in a vast universe filled with dangerous alien life and mysterious, uncharted planets,” according to EA.
Finally got to and finished Lair of the Shadow Broker (downloaded it when I got the DA2 DLC that came with the game).
Great banter with Liara, especially during the car chase “It’s a taxi, it has a fare meter.” and when her descrabler is working on the door into the Shadow Broker’s base.
Anyone else get a kick out of the crew dossiers you can read at Liara’s base afterward?
Who knew Legion was a big MMO player?
Oh, and love Grunt buying an action figure.
And Garrus’ visor playing music for him while he’s in firefights.
Oh, and can’t forget Miranda’s Extranet dating.
I just had a thought. I bet that any squadmate from the previous games that survived but isn’t a squadmate in ME3 will probably have a Lair style mission as part of the main game, so you’ll still get them for a little bit.
No, no mission. I thought Arrival might involve them, but sounds like it doesn’t.
But considering that if everyone survived ME2, you have 14-15 former squad members around and there’s at least 1 new squad member in ME3, I doubt everyone will be around to be full time squad members. For example, Thane could have left to spend what time he has left with his son and Legion could have been called back to deal with some Geth problem.
I assume that any love interests from either game that survived will be around for there to be some tension if you romanced one character in each game with an imported character.
So have I. I wasn’t really surprised they pushed it back since it didn’t have an official release date. Plus with the changes they are making to make it appeal to a broader audience.
