I was under the impression that our Private Message quota has been raised or gone with the old forums. I just got a message my Private Message directory was full when I tries to send a message. Under the old forum, there was notification/warning at the top right when I was 40-50 out of 50 messages full. Now, there are none.
On a related note, could I request a raise in PM quota? d:
Is there a way to get the highlighting to stay on the words you are working on until you are done, like they way it used to be? It is a nightmare to modify text now, you have to re-highlight each time you want to modify a line or single word of text. Or you have to try and ‘cut and paste’ a section of the modifier-brackets to move them to the other side of the text.

You might try clicking the first A/A button in edit/reply window toolbar. This switches the editor to WYSIWYG mode. I don’t know if this will help you but it might.
I would recommend saving the WYSIWYG editor as your default. You can do this from the Settings link (top right) - Select General Settings from the My settings sidebar(left), and under the Miscellaneous Options section, choose “Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing”
The monthly calender can only take three entries per day for Frak Parties, birthdays etc. Maybe you can tweak something there. I don’t remember the old layout having the same problem.

New problem-
When copying and pasting from a Microsoft Word doc, the forum smashes random words together. It is bizarre, I have never encountered anything like it before, I can find no reason for it or pattern to the destruction. The only remedy I could find was to hit preview beforehand and then edit the post, which needless to say is frustrating and time-consuming.
At first I thought it was because I had exceeded the 10,000 character limit and the forum had tried to compress the pasted doc in an effort to save room. But even with shorter posts well under the limit it occurred.
It’s probably the formatting. Might need to copy and paste to notepad first (or preview) then paste to forums.
I just uninstalled Shapeshifter, a notepad mod I was using. I’ll see if just using the standard Windows Notepad on my next post in the writers thread comes out differently.
Nope, I just ran a test using the standard old fashioned notepad. I pasted a bunch of text onto an already existing post to see what would happen, and it bunched up in clusters. Damn I was hoping it was that application that was doing it but no.

Just did what I have done for years, highlight the text I want. Right click, click copy, and then paste to the post. Never had a problem until now, other than the standard one of having to go back and re-bold, re-italize and so forth. But that is always to be expected when you dump a Word doc into HTML or BB code forums.
