Aesthetically pleasing is in the eye of the grant holder.
I caught a woman trying to steel from my company today she was hiding a 13 dollar CD under her baby in a stroller. Its not like she was taking food or medicine or anything… just a god damned CD its just so sad for people to give up there honor, and dignity for something so small.
What did you do and what was her response?
Especially since she could have gotten it on bittorent.
I’m just saying…
Banned her from the store, and sent her picture and license number the cops in case she was guilty of other shenanigans. and of coarse her response was to say it must have just fallen down there and she forgot about it…
On another completely different note I just had a bad experience, I saw Godzilla was going to go be on TV so flipped over until i realized it was the Mathew Broderick Godzilla.
I’ve had a headache since I woke up - 16 hours and counting
Well, yeah. It’s the definition of “aesthetically pleasing” that appeals to eggheads.
Says the guy who listens to Dutch avant garde music.
Oh, and I have to get up at 7:00 tomorrow to drive an hour for an editing session. Ugh!
I think your work is aesthetically pleasing. I am sorry I can not send you grant money.
Give your girls a hug. They also think you are aesthetically pleasing.
I’m aesthetically pleasing…to Caravaggio…
Thanks, Leah.
I’m soo sorry…I can sympathize to the nth degree on this one. Hope you are feeling better already. If not, get thee to the doctor–don’t keep suffering! I let it go on for MONTHS (actually years, because I’m a glutton for punishment, but really, really bad for months). My best advice…if the headaches are chronic, see your doc. stepping off soapbox now
I won’t doubt that she was doing what you said, but let me tell you that in my sleep-deprived days, first when Lucas was a newborn (and I was suffering from post-partum depression) and then when Sarah was from newborn through about 18 months and was a terrible sleeper and I was dealing with a 3 yr old to boot…on more than one occasion, I “stole” deli meat from the grocery store because it ended up under my diaper bag in the seat part of the grocery cart, where it stayed until I got out to my car and realized it was there, laying flat. I was too embarrassed (and too tired) to go back in and say, “I stole this Boar’s Head roast beef by accident.” And I’m not kidding…this probably happened two or three times.
Stepping on soapbox.
Pain usually means something so do not let it go. It may be something as simple as you are way stressed with life and need to have some down time. It could be more of a problem so as Keara says take care of yourself.
Stepping off soapbox.
I want to be a good dad, and good dad would be all excited about going out and playing in the snow with the kids.
But it is…fraking cold out there----about 13 degrees right now and snowing.
And my body aches all over from shoveling the driveway yesterday (my frakking snowblower wouldn’t start and my neighbor Dennis was out there mocking me by snowblowing the BACK of his house (his patio I guess)).
But, I will do it—puttin’ on my snow pants, hat…here I go:eek:
You are such a good dad. Wrap everyone up and go play.
13 degrees!
Such a good dad…the kids will have fun at least! I suspect you will as well…eventually. Kids seem to have that effect.
Totally agree with Leah on this one. Never ignore pain or try and repress it. Your body knows what it is doing, don’t get in its way and always listen to what it is telling you.
As for me…I have been sneezing for a few days now and getting really annoyed by it. I am so tempted to take benadryl and dry up my head, but that will only make this go on longer. Sneezing is the body’s way of getting the bad craaaaaaaaaaap out, so I am not going to get in the way of that.
<shuffles off to blow his nose once again>
Just be careful with the junk going down your throught or to your lungs. That can make you real sick. If your do not have a fever and can get enough sleep you can let your body do it’s thing.
Benadryl is a major drug to me. Just thinking about it makes me sleepy.
Yeah, we had fun. Of course, the girls didn’t go out at the same time. One of 'em came out, and then went back in, and the other came out—with me out there the whole. Now I’m back inside waiting for feeling to come back to my toes.
Cure - fire place and marshmallows. Well that is how I remember how we did it.
Aw man… at least they CAN go outside. Spouse and I want to go sledding (he’s never been!) in the gigantic amounts of snow we’ve gotten in the past few days, and then of course today, it’s -7 F. with wind chill, it is frostbite territory.
I think all we’ll be doing today outside will be digging our way to the woodpile.
