Life is teh suck today because (a.ka. the official B_tch & Moan thread)

Sometimes I think it would be better if my co-workers were gone…

But don’t be lonely, A! You’ve got us!

I have just realized that with my new part-time job, I’ll be a red-shirt (Target employees wear red shirts/khaki pants) every time I go to work. And their bloody logo is a bulls-eye! Maybe I didn’t think this through well enough before applying…

Make your ringtone the red-shirt death knell from TOS.

Is that on Phonezoo? I have the ST fight music and Seanscream as featured ringtones right now.

That’ll work.

This got me thinking of the red shirt (above) that dies in Star Trek (2009) as sort of a wink the old red shirt dying trend of TOS.
So I did some imdbing and such. I had assumed Olson (the redshirt) was a typical random security officer, but in the credits he’s listed as the Chief Engineer. Whut?! Chief Engineeri! But that makes no…
…okay breath Thot. Let it go (I’m such a geek  )

Heh! The Trek fight theme cropping up randomly would be awesomesauce.

LOL…just don’t think I’ll be getting a cell call between 4 and 8 a.m. though.

Is that a challenge?

Um…no, next week will be my first week…and will be training. Don’t even know if I can have my cell phone with me in the warehouse yet.

GWCer’s number that I have in my phone ring with Seanscream. Family with ST fight song.

Has anyone made a ringtone of the SeanSheep yet?

Awesome.

Best to put it on ‘silent’ if you’re allowed to bring it then.

Not that I know of…but want!

You’re right, we need that, as well as a SeanWookie. I’d be happy to oblige as long as it’s okay with the Reverend.

I suggest a medley of all three.

LOL! Great idea! I’ll get to work on that.

I’m really angry at one of my sisters right now. She is getting her second divorce, which is a good thing. The bad thing is that she is now 2 months pregnant. With her soon to be ex-husband’s child. She “forgot” to get her birth control pills refilled. WTF? I am so mad at her for being so irresponsible. She already has a 10 year old daughter from her first marriage- oh, and her first husband left her when she was 6 months pregnant. So now she is going to be a single mother. Again.

The evil overlords of the internet reduced my speed to like pre-modem days for the rest of the month. What a bummer.

So, it’s the beginning of hell week with my big National Gallery concert. I’ve had 4 hours of sleep in the last two days (I did manage to nap for about two hours this morning, though, and two hours yesterday afternoon, which probably helped cause last night’s insomnia) and tonight’s only the second rehearsal. I have midterms coming in tomorrow and to top it all off, I set off to pick up my 8-year-old from school this afternoon only to find that I didn’t need to and that I’d forgotten that we’d arranged for her to stay with her grandmother (who is a teacher at her school) after school and come home later.

And now the guest composer wants MORE changes to the itinerary and my department chair is pissed (I’ve never seen him pissed before). I’m actually scared now.

Live music is so 18th century! We have CD players now for that.
