Sherif Ali: What are you looking for?
T.E. Lawrence: Some way to announce myself.
Sherif Ali: Be patient with him, God.

Hope to join in tonight for this “Grand” film.
Haven’t seen it in years and years. I once loved it. Wonder if it will look dated now. Excited to see it again.

I’m here. Be back in a few… gotta grab some dinner.

And here we go…ya back yet, NBT?

Listening to the OVERTURE signifying that this is of the Epic genre. Grand, majestic so much so we set aside some time just for the score.

I like it, though. Gets ya in the mood.

:15 starting now. Anyone else there?

The Overature is certainly GRAND.

Howdy, frakkers.

Holy craaap, this is a long movie.

Forgotten how good the music is.

Maurice Jarre did the music for this film. This score was his first Academy Award. He would work with David Lean (the director) again in Dr. Zhivago (another beautiful score).

Just how long?

So the few minutes without picture at the beginning weren’t just me. Good.

Hence the early start. Lawrence is about to ride his motorbike.

Wow, that’s right. Talent !

People nowadays would never stand for that. “Hey, where’s me commercials??!!??”

Wow, maybe I need to go post in the feeling old thread.

Ok now getting picture. Motorcycle scene.

Yee Ha!! That looks like fun.

Oh well, he’s dead. Well, that was fast. Good night everyone.

L. is so meticulous, dusting off his bike.

Ah, the no-helmet days.
