It’s official, I land on Wednesday around 2h30pm. I will not stay at the Aloft on Wednesday though, the were renting me the extra night at 189$. I will be shopping for a cheaper hotel for that night but I’ll still be around. My offer still stand to hangout.

I just received news today that I may be flying to Napa in the USA “sometime in March or April” for some product training.
Could it be that the stars are aligning and I can swing by the meetup…? Frak I hope so…that would just make my year!
So…some advice please guys…what do you think is the latest I could leave a booking for hotel accommodation? Does anyone know if there is still room at the inn???

I don’t believe the hotel was full last year - just not sure how close to the event we can book and still get the discount. Not sure what the cancellation policy is either. Your best bet is to e-mail or DM Sean
That being said I am sure there would be room in someone’s room as long as you don’t mind sharing rooms/beds. Trust me I am sure we would find room

I’ve been listening to the 'cast for years and have really always wanted to connect with the incredible community I kept hearing about. So why not jump right in and go to the Meetup? I hear Audra’s voice: Do it. DO IT! It’s a bit scary, but I know the rewards could be huge.

Welcome Trish! Took me a while to emerge from lurker status too. Everyone’s encouragement and friendliness on the cast (and on the forum) made it much easier for me to take the plunge and decide to attend the meetup. It is a bit scary, but if you decide to come, you definitely won’t be the only newbie there.

Yes, if you can make you should go! I was in the same boat as you last year. I did not attend the first meetup because I was nervous about going on my own. But last year I took the plunge and went, and I have never regretted it! You will have a blast, and meet a whole bunch of funny, smart, creative and just plain nice people. Go if you can!
