That dog creature was downright unsavory.
Sure, they say that now. Just wait seven years.
It’s all Jack’s fault. He kicked the pod.
Why is Scotty playing…?
Oh wrong movie.
Donald Sutherland almost got himself killed during this scene, since he insisted on doing his own stunts.
These two aren’t too bright.
Well, granted they haven’t slept in a few days.
I’m a little behind. Boobies!!
The scene where he is burning the factory down?
Not to mention that they took an overdose of uppers, followed by intravenous downers.
Why did he drop the ax? He coulda used that.
That’s true. Proving once again that this could be one crazy trip down the rabbit hole.
This is awesome. Never knew this before:
Only Philip Kaufman, W.D. Richter, and Donald Sutherland knew how the film was going to end. Veronica Cartwright was not told that Sutherland’s character had been captured and became an alien. When they filmed the ending in front of San Francisco City Hall and Sutherland pointed to her, imitating the pod scream, Cartwright’s reaction of cold fear is authentic.
They do seem to like doing that to her.
That is great. I guess they must play practical jokes on her all the time and love her reaction.
I remember as a kid watching this noticing the trees had changed.
Have you ever read the book? I wonder how it’s different from the films.
Alrighty. Time for night-night. Funny how I’m not even afraid. I’ve been lulled by the voice of Leonard Nimoy. “A world without emotion, perfect.”
