Not necessarily. The spores aren’t exactly solid matter, and assuming that they could survive in space, it’s entirely possible that they could survive reentry. In fact, that’s the underpinning of the theory of panspermia and exogenesis. Even if most of the spores burned up, at least a few would make it to the ground unharmed.
This soundtrack is really annoying and freaky.
