I made it to the second page of instructions. Still need more 1 x 16’s. This is what we have so far…
Is that really a real term? What part of the world (English speaking, [curse you semantics types!]) could you get away with calling a woman that to her face?
Not that I’ll ever try… I like living.
Edit: I almost Googled femaleman. Fortunately, my lapse in sanity was very temporary (this time).
Working as a mailman for 3 months, I knew at least two women who used that term to describe themselves. Then again, they had a sense of humor and were funny. We bonded instantly.
I think the term originated on the Simpsons.

This really is awesome. Best part is your sense of humor about the whole thing. Adds a great spin to the whole project, and your pictures of the Legopeople in action are just hi-larious.

more parts arrived. down to 87 lots and 918 parts left. No further construction today. I’ll try to get some pictures up this afternoon.
Two more packages today. 82 lots, 851 items left.
More parts arrived as I came home in the blizzard at 3AM today - 69 lots, 686 items left. I’m almost positive I have the right parts to start construction of the cockpit. I tried before, but got about 2.5 steps in before I realized I was missing some important parts. Hopefully I’ll have some good pictures tomorrow. Time to sleep!

A great adventure is about to take place…
What you see in the upper right are the 1 x 16 technic parts I was waiting for, all 47 of them. I also bought out their inventory of light gray and white so I can re sell them. They were selling for 1.50 to $2 each in the quantity I needed and I got them for 15 cents each from Hungary. Also, the mast rigging in the middle was 60 cents from the same place. It is selling here for $13 to $25 each here, but there was a minimum order of 12, so I’ll be selling ten of those 
I’ll be back in a bit, gonna build something.
Can’t wait. Might we see Han yelling at Chewie that that one goes there and THAT ONE goes THERE?

Here is the first section of internal framework I have completed. It measures in at just under 20" wide. This is the port-starboard central frame (as far as I can tell)
Had to move to a bigger table as my original table has all the parts spread out on it for now.
The irony of this situation is that this may be all the construction I get done this weekend as I have a very busy weekend.
