This made my whole household laugh, even the cats.
I LOVE Flag Day. My friends and I had a whole little Flag Day dance back in college. Every year on June 14, someone sends around the video.
Neat bit of history, too:
In 1954, as the U.S. House of Representatives was deciding to add “under God” to the Pledge of Allegiance, there were two versions of the new language, introduced by two different Representatives. One would have changed the Pledge to read:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which is stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
The other version would have changed the Pledge to read:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which is stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
The only difference was the comma in one version and lack of comma in the other. Debate was tied up for a long time. It was a bitter fight. Each author wanted his version to be the one selected. Finally, the apocryphal story goes, one of them said, “I don’t care which version it is, as long as the bill can be signed by Flag Day!”
And so, on Flag Day, June 14, 1954, President Eisenhower signed into law an amendment to the U.S. Flag Code, adding the phrase, “one nation, under God,” to the Pledge.

Saved to desktop.
I’m terrible! (I laughed.) ):
A hobo knocks on a guy’s door and asks for a handout. The guy says “I tell you what, I’ll give you $10 to paint my porch. The paint and brushes are by the garage.” The hobo agrees. An hour or so later, he come back. “All done! And by the way, it’s not a porch, it’s an Audi.”
Wasn’t sure if I should put this here or in the MLP thread - when you open it up, you’ll see why. The last image really…umm…takes the cake

Yeah, this is probably the best spot given the crossovers…
