Am I missing something? Is this one of those things you’d only get if you live in an arctic climate with sport that requires you to stand up on ridiculously thin pieces of metal at Christmas time instead of lying on a beach?
Hmm… There was a picture there yesterday. Not sure where it went.
I think it’s the fact that it’s a backyard hocky rink with a makeshift zamboni that looks to have about as much maneuvering room as that cart at the end of Austin Powers.
Also, isn’t it on top of an above-ground pool? Eh, maybe not.
I think you’re right Armando. That’s a little over the top to have a zamboni for a backyard rink!
It kind of looks like they took TWO above ground pools across TWO garages and turned them into a long hockey rink. The makeshift zamboni’s just the icing on the cake.
Oh yeah. That’s next year’s Halloween costume. I hate wearing heels but this is gonna be worth it. I’m sure Rubies sells a Hillary dress.

Maybe it’s the ex-Catholic/ex-Evangelical (long story. Remind me to tell it sometime) in me that still recoils at things like this. I’ve certainly SAID things that are much worse than these pictures. :eek:
I laughed gut-bustingly hard when I read this. I guess it’s the ex-IT employee in me and having to listen to my husband complain about IT that makes this one so funnny.

I’ve got a strange relationship with religion and God. This doesn’t seem like the right thread to discuss it in, but maybe we can start one to talk about deeper things like this, so long as we keep it civilized. It’s been a while since we’ve had a philosophical discussion round these parts.
