Not so far, and I just finished the fifth episode.
Yeah, I’ve finished the second episode and I think it’s always like
she wants something from “normal life” like a boyfriend or a baby and then happily decides to go on doing what she does
No, I’m not a priest. Far from it. Although I am an ordained minister, but who isn’t?
I mean, you probably sit around your office the whole day, now and then writing down a sentence or two for the sermon on Sunday and in between you hop in on the discussions here on the forum.
uh, no.
I just have a job that affords me a lot of spare time and minimal supervision. If you’re basing this on “doing God’s work” in my profile, that’s meant to be ironic, in case that isn’t really obvious by now.
Plus: you’re a gutter guy!
More than you can possibly imagine. In fact, the gutter was a previous career path, of sorts.
I’ll eventually cave and watch Who, but I’m excited about B5 first.
Good. Can’t complain about that. There’s a year and a half until there’s any new Who (other than a few movies and specials here and there), so there’s plenty of time. I think Torchwood will especially resonate for you (speaking of the gutter), but you need to watch some Who first. Enjoy B5 in the meantime though.
I don’t remember much about Time Trax, except the premise and that the dude had a hot holographic chick in like a tricorder or something, right? But apart from the show I think the show was pretty meh. But my memory could be failing me here.
I don’t remember a lot of details, but you’re right on target with the “meh”.
Well, I have to admit, it’s on my list of things to in this life,
The Bucket List? (great movie, BTW. Recommended.)
I wanna pay for… escort … at least once and know what it feels like, I mean, you read about it on the internet and they say it’s exciting and kinda tingles and you know, like some people wanna go sky diving once in their life…
Talk about thread drift.
I think I’ll respond by PM, before the Whovians rise up in angry revolt…
I think I know more people who are ordained ministers than people who aren’t, sometimes! I’ll have my pick if I ever get married!

I adore Torchwood, too. And, I LOVE the Torchwood gutter, IYKWIM.

Agreed! I cried for 10 minutes after it was over!

Now, really, when has anyone truly revolted about thread drift on this forum?
An in-depth discussion of the relative merits of prostitution in a thread devoted to what is essentially considered a children’s show? If anything could do it, that would be it.
Til Schweiger, Moritz Bleibtreu, and Rutger Hauer! It’s got all my favorite German actors! If only it had Jürgen Prochnow and Franka Potente!
Doesn’t look like Netflix has it though.
Hmm- You might have a point
Ninja!! NinjaVideos!!!
Anyone else getting their Who fix sated by way of iTunes? For me, it’s worth the $1.99 per episode…except maybe the “Daleks in Manhattan” rubbish.
