RE: kiss. Six is very intuitive which makes hear a great operative. She is also very attune with the will of the Cylon god, Final Five, etc. When she’s looking at Tigh it’s almost predatory. (WOW just realized something. Predatory Tory. There’s something there, no?) She is seeking out weakness. Tigh allowed her to beat the crrraaaaapppp out of him. Right before the kiss she says, “This isn’t what you need.” Six is picking up on all the vibes Tigh is putting out there and reacting to them but she doesn’t know that Tigh sees Ellen. She’s giving Tigh what he needs. WHAT A WOMAN!!

Did anyone mention in the podcast about that weird shifty eyed villain look that the Chief got when he was looking at his son? I want to make sure I’m not pointing out something already mentioned but…WTF? (as in what the frak?) I came away with the impression that the Chief (or rather specialist Tyrol) might whack that kid. Anyone else?
My impression was that, in that scene, he’s just got some many thoughts and feelings waring in his head, and he’s trying to cope as best he can. The stress of taking care of a baby (toddler?) on top of everything else, …I think the stress is pushing him near to going over the edge.
Well, if I learned anything from the Simpsons it is that shifty eyes=evil. I think the chief is going to unravel spectacularly one way or another.
I don’t think that’s where he was going. I think he’s questioning what he’s going to do as a single parent and what his motivations were when they got pregnant- considering that he’s just now admitting that he settled for Cally, that’s got to be a big question- there is also the issue of having unintentionally created a new Humlon. I think he was deep in thought and in agony, rather than contemplating violence towards Nikki.
Re: Gaeta and the old woman from The Woman King (approximately 25m into podcast): No! Gaeta can’t hook up with her because Gaeta does not like women. If you want a young man/old person thing, Gaeta could hook up with… Zarek (since Cavil is currently taken).

I just rewatched the Chief’s tirade and this is a snippet of what he said to Adama:
“…I settled for that shriek, those dull vacant eyes, boiled cabbage stench of her and why? Because this is my life…”
I didn’t believe it, even though I had seen the ep 2x before podcast 97, just goes to show you, you don’t always catch EVERYTHING.
In my experience, I need to watch things a couple of times to fully appreciate them. First time around I try and grasp the story. Second time, dialogue. Third, scenery/production/lighting/sets/props…basically what’s going on in the background (lotta pause rewind going on in this phase). Fourth, music/soundtrack. Fifth, CGI effects. You get the point. I love to savor a meal.
When you find it, can you pass it on to me! I mean, I still love Saul and always will - mentally, physically, and spiritually - but him and Gaeta just…ewwwwwwwww…Anders and Gaeta, now we’re talking! …
