Hey there! I recently found the world of Podcasts and I really like your show. I started listening at around #75 and I am listening until I catch up to the most recent. I wasn’t planning to respond until I caught up, but I heard #84 and really wanted to comment on the Cosmos and Carl Sagan part of the discussion. I watched Cosmos with my family back in the early eighties.
Then, my father in 1986, gave me a copy of the book ‘Contact’. I ripped through that novel in 3 days and could not put it down. I was disappointed when I saw the movie, but the book was most excellent.
I am a big fan of BSG and I started with the original series at 8 years old in 1978.
I will keep listening . . .
