Well we already know Chuck wont be into the green Boobioes - and I cant blame him theyre almost neon! If Im gonna be lookin at boobies for a while, I dont want to be blinded by them.
where’s the rolling eyes smiley??
Actually I may get one of those this summer, they are coming out with a new version that’s supposed to be pretty sweet.
PS: for those of you interested, here’s some of the Mass Effect voice talent:
Liara T’soni: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0385029/
Tali’Zorah nar Rayya: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2245907/
And, of course, the cast of thousands: Marina Sirtis, Armin Shimmerman, Seth Green, and many more.
At least we know that Mass Effect is the first game in a trilogy. An online version of it would be totally frakking awesome, it’s such a rich tapestry of cultures. I played a few years ago with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on PC (written and developped by the same team as Mass Effect) and it was a great gaming experience. Anyone else tried it?
It will be interesting to watch the extended cut version of “Unfinished Business” when it’s released on DVD in march with an extra 30mns according to Moore.
Hey I like the rambling! Don’t go changing GWC! There is always the little button with the arrows pointing forward if people don’t like the direction the tangent is going….
I’m a traditionalist and must say I prefer blue. But then again I hate to have to consider myself a greenest, a la Chuck. However, I must agree with Sean that green Orion women are sexy. I guess we could always go to Lou Farigno to get Audra’s opinion on the color issue:
Blue Babes
Green Babes
I’ve been completely smitten with “Cortana”, the AI female from Halo 1, 2, and 3, since the beginning…and she’s an electronic construct character existing within a frakkin video game, for godssake ! She’s not even “real” in the Halo universe !! And when I rescued her recently while playing the last few levels of Halo 3 I actually got choked up for a second…what the hell is wrong with me ??? And she’s multicolored, for crying out loud !! Nice boobies, though.
Yeah, kicking it old skool.
Green Boobies FTW!
Yep. Gotta agree with you and Sean here. Green just takes exotic to another level. For me, it definitely has to do with Orion slave woman. I was 9 and Vina was my first erotic dancer. I’ll let you connect the dots. That’s all I’m saying.
I couldn’t agree more!!! Half way through the podcast I’m like, WTF, I don’t even know what they’re talking about, and then I just Starbuck-smacked myself and said, hey, this is GWC, you don’t go complaining when they go on and on for an hour about some random detail in Firefly, Star Wars, the neverending (I hope) Head Six debate, or alpacas! So sit down, shut up, and keep driving. And then it was all fun! The green/blue debate was hysterical as far as I’m concerned, and you’ve got to love Chuck for baring his feelings.
Oh, and it’s like -15 here in glorious Sun Valley Idaho, so no mo bitching about the cold!!! WAH!!!
On an entirely other note, and I apologize if this has already been discussed in the past, but how come Six is the only one who ever changes her hair color???
I claim Martian ancestry and I’d bet there’s a hell of a lot more of us here on Earth than on the red planet…or is there?!
You know, I think I’d eprfer a blue one…thats a man…a man verhsion lol
And by he way, I am 18 Sean hahaha
yea you never see a blond boomer or a red head doral!
Sounds like another Photoshop challenge so we can actually test the attractiveness of different color combinations on our favorite BSG characters.
um. i dont own an XBox 360, so i was lost for the first 50…
and it was a little disappointing to hear Chuck referring to Dee’s INCREDIBLE BUTT as a reason for Lee to stick around. ugh! shame on you! wagging finger
firstly-- didnt we all jump on the “Dee’s a *@tch” bandwagon because of how she played Billy? Billy and Dee had very real chemistry. they were definitely a better match than Lee and Dee (i had mentioned this yarens ago). Dee is hot for Lee because, well–He’s Bill Adama’s SON (ladies love the power)–and he’s a sexy MoFo in a towel. Billy was emotionally present for Dee 100%, and Dee was not on the same page. so what goes around comes around in this situation, i figure!
remember that these characters are soldiers. they are meshed and married into fighting, death and loss. some soldiers get very screwed up behind this culture, and it affects how they handle relationships. i believe Starbuck is just one of these type of soldiers. it’s like someone who is manic or bipolar… sometimes they refuse medicine they are prescribed because they feel it “takes too much of the edge off of them” or, “doesn’t allow them to ‘feel’ anymore”… because being “balanced” feels “abnormal”. i have to go with Audra (and thanks Audra for bringing the discussion back to the episode); i think the “night under the stars” allowed Starbuck to be who she really is! it brought the Kara out of Starbuck. brought her into balance, but also brought her to who she is afraid to be. because if she was “balanced Kara” then she could not be Starbuck. and that just scares her. Starbuck is the soldier, the persona. not the essence of Kara Thrace. Anders allows her to walk in her valley of darkness. Lee challenges her persona and sheds light on her darkness. which is, um, romantic-yet-boring to sci-fi fans… but its what keeps me tuned into to this damn show.
so, is it possible for men and women to be best friends and fall in love? and actually pursue a romantic relationship after a forever-yarens long friendship? do we have a "When Harry Met Sally in Outer Space " situation here?
my two cubits.
It happens… are you a Star Trek: TNG person? There’s an episode in which Riker’s holo-love figures prominently…
Exactomundo! I think that a lot of GWCers forget this. She’s a ladder-climbing self-hating Sagitaron .
She wasn’t worthy of Billy.
I think she’s entitled to learn the hard lesson delivered by the karma train. That doesn’t absolve Lee or Kara of any guilt, though.
I really miss Billy. I wonder, if he had been kept in the show, would he have been one of the final 4 in place of Tori? Hmmm… That would kind of put a twist on the Dee-Billy sitch.
On another note, I believe it is possible for best friends to marry happily. Not everyone gets that lucky, but I’ve seen it in action. It’s beautiful. And kind of gross. LOL!
