Same here. It had an awesome soundtrack that you could bust out your dad’s platform shoe’s, bell-bottoms, and disco ball and GET DOWN!!!
fail.
damn 10 letterts minimum
Do you mean “Big O” or “Johnny Sokko and His Giant Robot” in either case… yes both are totally SciFi. Good call in either case btw… Classic.

Ok…this picture is wrong on many levels:
- From a photographic standpoint, way too much background detrius
- To look at the background noise, are we to believe this person lifts weights?
- Why on earth is Kleenex so easily accessible in the middle of the room? (scratch that…I don’t want to know)
- It is daytime out when this picture was taken? Wouldn’t this guy burst into flame if exposed to sunlight?
- No caffeine-based liquid to be seen, anywhere
- I still can’t figure out what the off-white box is next to his foot. Ancient computer? Backup Kleenex disposal? Maybe I don’t want to know this either.
- Are we to believe with the amp in background this guy (or girl?!?) also rocks the guitar?
- Why he went for the Michael Jackson “Bad” pose…<shudder>
- That toaster in the background is mixing the genres. Either stick with Star Wars or go with Galactica
- For some reason I get the feeling this person is wearing the costume more than they are not
someone has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on their hands:rolleyes:
Pike - Nice job with the Lincoln quote!
And smithzb and Ty-The-Giant, thanks both for backin’ me up! I knew Nixon said that but I didn’t remember his exact words.
I just saw this link on Galactica Sitrep…you can get your very own life-sized Centurion http://www.sideshowtoy.com/behindtheshow/?page_id=4102 …!
Although it’s proabbably already been posted

It’s not a great stunning preview (Aka “WE’RE GOING THE WRONG WAAAAAAY!!!”) - however, it’s the ending credit that kinda messes with me
It looks…damaged
Damn, I had missed that. Good eye.
I missed that too. Here’s caps for comparison:
Webisode end credit
Promo end credit
Hardly. That was only about a minute or two of work. You should see what happens when I really focus on something. It isn’t like I was counting the pulses of light on the basestar to see if there was a pattern or anything.
Just finished up listening to the 'cast. I loved ReBoot when I was a kid! That mention brought back a lot of fond memories…
I also enthusiastically support the idea of a Bladerunner DTA Re-watch. That movie actually is what convinced me to try out BSG, since the premise of the show sounded like what might have happened if the replicants had figured a way around the four-year lifespan problem. Anyway, Bladerunner is an excellent, really deep movie (it was one of my favorite assigned “texts” for a religious studies class I took–and yes, it was one of the coolest classes EVER), and it would be fun to hear what everybody thinks about it and even how it might relate to BSG.
Well at least the new promos on SCiFi are still saying March, which means only a few more months till new material!!! I can’t remember the Navy caller’s name, but I know we will hear from him again, he seems like a big fan, just wanted to tell him thanks for his service.
After listening to the cast I was forced to look at the relationship between the Admiral and the Chief. I know that things go crazy for them in the coming rewatch weeks, but I am reminded of the Admiral threatening Callie(SP.), after seeing that the chief was involved in the killings of those traitors in this episode I saw some similarities between the two of them, they seemed like two men who would do anything for what they believed was right. Chief was involved in the circle for finding those responsible for acts on NC, and Adama was trying to stop a coup on a military vessel. I know Chuck and probably Sean will have points against my opinion, and I look forward to the debate, but when it comes down to it Chief killed more people in illegal trials than Adama ever did.
Plus Chief’s a toaster!!!
Forgive me I have nothing that intelligent to say, except for the fact that I still can’t get over the fact that three of those people in that circle are cylons (Hey , I’m still laughing at the fact thaat everyone blamed Helo for doing it with a cylon…when really, everyone did it with a cylon, espechaly if Kara is a cylon, and yes…I’m still laughing because I can’t wait to see poor Calleys face when she finds out the Cheif is a cylon…bang)
I’m just so reminded of the BSG cast spoof of season three when Sharon and Calley Are fighting, and their babies, who are toasters, start to cry and they both go "Awee…maybe they can get married some day…“yeah”
Anyway,I have to disaggree with Chuck. I think my man Bill did ahve a right to tell Zerek what he thought. I’m not saying that if it were me, I wouldn’t be in the cirlce, because I swear to you I would be. it doesn’t make it right. The truth is, I do not think Zeriek is the best leader…okay thats a bad defence haha.
Let me dig myself out of this whole. ugh…Adama sees the circlemore as a black and white issue. In my oopinion, right now, as in RIGHT NOW, not later in the season, he s a bit niave. He sees the circle has a black and white thing. And, so do I, think it was wrong to pick these people up and kill them. But for the people on Caperica this was not as black and white.
And ugh…mabe it was elgal…just not moral :). Plus, isn’t Adama and the President supossed to share power at the point they are in now?
Please tell me that I’m not the only one who remembers the Max Headroom movie? It was before the Coke contract, probably made in the UK as it was way too dark to be made in the US.
There’s a lot going on but the essence is an intrepid reporter in a post apocalyptic world is investigating why people who watch too much TV are exploding. There’s an evil corporation (but really, when is there not an evil corporation in a post-apocalyptic setting?) there are “blipverts”, and a subplot about a black-market in body parts.
Really, it’s almost the perfect sci-fi comedy except I don’t remember any explosions.
I remember that. There’s a good write-up here:

There was also this bit of life imitating art. “Max Headroom” hijacking the airwaves in Chicago in 1987:
i caint imagine
its ok i freexe framed the matrix movies. and have seen each literaly 10+times
the lights are in paraddidles
…its ok i rarely do
