I, too, waited in line for episode one, but even though I did manage to get into the midnight showing, I had to wait until a bit later to shed the tear. Why? I’d worked long hours for weeks, and fell asleep during the movie. (I also ended up in the front row. While that’s normally pretty bad, it was heinous for a Star Wars flick. I couldn’t keep the whole screen in my field of vision, so during the intro I had to whip my head back and forth – like watching a tennis match played by super-human robots – to read the words. Doh!)
I’m glad you chose to join in the fray here, because I feel just like you seem to about GWC: it’s a big group of friends who share their favorite books, movies, and experiences. I feel like I’ve gone from two friends like that to scores. It’s a wonderful thing, and even better since you’re here now. Welcome to the forum Ziebra, and thanks for sharing your story!
