This is interesting - I just looked up Daybreak on Dictionary.com and the site lists Aurora as a synonym.
From Wikipedia:
“In ancient Roman mythology Aurora, goddess of the dawn, renews herself every morning and flies across the sky.”
Wonder if this is about the cycle finally being renewed and if this makes Starbuck our Aurora for being the harbinger of the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next.
I take heart that even though BSG is always sad face that the title at least indicates a hopeful future. Unless it’s a cynical Nieztche reference about how those without power are only good because it’s a behavior you can feel good about when you have no power.
I CANNOT BELIEVE I missed what MM and you turned up. (Actually, I can believe it.) Daybreak = Aurora = Starbuck.
(What happened to the statue of Aurora given to Adama by Starbuck the last time he smashed his model ship to pieces?)

It’s gawgeous out here. Slightly cloudly, but breezy and mild otherwise. I’m spending a whole day shooting video outside tomorrow. Should be real nice.
I was just thinking that as BSG titles go, “Daybreak” is the happiest-sounded I think we’ve ever had.
At the risk of being a killjoy, “Daybreak” comes from the Greek “Dabrakos,” which roughly translates to “at night’s end, bloody armageddon, with doom for all.”
Just walk away quietly, maybe no one will notice…
