I assumed they didn’t go get the folks that have already left the ship. Figured the bodies at the services were those that died but were still within the confines of the ship. Maybe they got stuck on a strut or gantry or something.

They freeze all right. Vacuum insulates from conduction of heat, but not radiation of heat. Matter surrounded by absolute zero will radiate pretty well. However, they won’t flash-freeze, I don’t think… you need a conducting medium like super-cold air for that, I believe.
I agree, this makes sense. The only tenuous fact I hold onto to support my theory is that Head6 told Baltar repeatedly in season 1 and 2 that Hera was ‘their’ child. The fact that a head character would be the first to describe Hera as a gift from God, and that the Head characters could possibly be this reality’s ‘angels’ seems to make sense to em.
Admittedly, this could then make the Opera House couple Head6 and Baltar. But this wouldn’t be the first time that BSG math hasn’t immediately added up.

I guess my public school physics teacher didn’t fill me in on that one. I guess I though it was a balance between boiling flesh because of no air pressure and freezing flesh because of an absolute zero temp. I think I remember seeing something like that in a movie called “Mission to Mars.” Of course “Event Horizon” is creepy too.

Good point. I think sick bay was filled up with a lot of hurt people too. Maybe they all didn’t make it. And we can’t forget the 8 who said ‘thanks Dad’ to Tigh and then died.

i love it when they stay on topic too, but its even more enjoyable when they go off on tangents bout any/everything… like chill, games, and sheep

Yeah, that’s the “watercooler” aspect of the 'cast. It’s about BSG, sure, but also about Chuck’s eccentric pronunciation, Audra’s hairstyle observations, and Sean’s sheep noises.
A podcast of sheep noises would be okay with me.
i like the conversational nature of the 'cast, myself. in a 2 hour 'cast there’s usually a good 70+ minutes of BSG, and it’s atually kind of nice to have it broken up by the funny sidetracking.
as mentioned, if you take the gwc cast at its name, it’s a watercooler discussion, not a drill-down.
