Regarding the relativistic flight and the Final Five daily routine. Wouldn’t they be in cryo or something ala ‘Planet of the Apes’ or ‘Alien’? Cuz like y’all said, that’s a long time to be sitting around or in your bunk.
My guess as far as their journey would be: they went to Kobol, read the note (obviously left) that read ‘Got tired of parents, moved out’ (with optional map pointing to the location of the colonies), and then got back on their ship and went to colonies.
Keara’s comment may explain why Anders was such a good Pyramid player in his new life…

Graham Crackers and Milk is by far the best choice. My family has a “recipe” for a dish called Mush-Mush Basically its a sleeve of Grahm Crackers and milk then you take a spoon and turn into onto a wet paste like substance. SOOOO good. But you have to get just enough milk so you have some solid chunks of Graham. Excellent late night snack or for those who indulge in other snack related activities.
The pure mental strain. What the frak would you do for all those hours? It’s just not feasible. But you bring up a great point. Instead of being in cryo, why not just data storage? The ship could run on auto-pilot…Duh! You’re a frakkin machine, you can trust another to fly you around…anyway, run on auto-pilot. You’ve got resurrection tech. Put your essence in cold storage (as Cavil said to Three in ‘Rapture’) and when you reach your destination, the computer downloads everyone and as you put it Voila!
