GWC Podcast #143

Damn skippy!

"The WHAT barge? With Kara “Albatross” Thrace? Are you frakin’ kidding me?!

“I’ll be in my brig.”

Yup.

BSG Pike = Sap.

GWC Pike = Survivor.

Beep! Motherfraker!

Yeah,… no matter how long you wait, add about 2 MORE years to reach the Asia Pacific region

for audra:
Physical energy and electrical energy are two different things.

physical energy comes from the movement of mass.
electrical energy comes from the movement of electrons.

ie:

physical energy: A boulder rolls down a hill and smashes into you.
electrical energy: you lick a wall outlet.

hope that helps

Anyone else Play the Command and Conquer games? 6 and 8 are both in the latest game. thought it was funny.

Hey!!! I have been away from these forums for waaaaay too long. Blasted work cutting into my internet time…

Chuck, Sean, Audra – THANK YOU for all of the bonus podcasts. All of the other podcasts I listen regularly to took holiday breaks. If not for y’all, I would have had nothing fun and exciting to listen to during my post/pre holiday cleaning spree and gym time. You are all officially awesome.

Haha, yeahhhh.

Anyone else figure that the power-going-out might have been a side-effect of whatever brought Starbuck 2.0 to the Fleet?

Thanks for the podcast. Never have I laughed so hard about mohawks and asses while shopping for groceries. “From the people who brought you cumberbands…” I don’t know why, but that particular line lead me to the biggest giggle fit I’ve had in a long time.

Anyway. I think I recall from old children’s books that hat makers are called milliners. Not sure if there’s a different term for female/male ones though.

But anyway, I was a bit surprised that there were no mentions of any quarter bets.

I meant to post this before and forgot in my thrall over Carmen Sandiego…

I vote Baltar in polls when a) I don’t know what to vote, b) I have no strong opinion for the other options, or c) Baltar really is the answer

“You grow your hair long, and it gets longer. I grow mine, and it gets bigger.”
Chuck - 51:10

I have the exact same problem. However, rather than sympathize, I’m suddenly struck by the hilarity of this image:

Wait! Was that RDM at the end of the podcast? Does this mean that there’s a chance–just a slim, tiny chance–that he’s checked out our frak parties during last season?

Everyone put your pants on! RDM’s in the house! (Maybe)

I wondered about that too, Stroogie.

If so, I wonder if he has any clue what the frak we’re talking about. What with all the pantslessness, sorryBarb’s, w**dn shps, Larry, Backyard BBQ 8–could the uninitiated understand us?

Not to mention cookies!

Oh jeusus! I am laughing so hard right now LOLLOLOLOLO!!!

Too much hair!

runs off to hide in a smuggling compartment

Audra was right about John Cleese’s ass in “A Fish Called Wanda”.
That was actually one of the funniest scenes.
The strategically placed family portrait-- cut to the same faces in shock and horror…priceless.

You beat me to it! lol! Weird fact: the term “mad as a hatter” was due to the mercury poisoning they would get in the hat-making process. I can’t remember where I first heard it, but I think it must have been around the time I saw Hello Dolly on tv (Streisand) when she took the girls to the milliners.

Why do I know these things?

I grew up in northern Indiana and I am very familiar with Bozo, although I spent a little more time watching Ray Raynor in the mornings. Takes me back just a few years!
