You know, I understand that it’s a bad thing to sell out the crew of your ship and betray humanity, get your friends all killed, yada, yada,yada. But if you had the option of going back to the Matrix without having to sell out your friends, what would you do?

I mean, if the agents came to me and said (after a steak dinner and a good bottle of wine) that they’ll take me back into the Matrix… that they’ll make me moderately rich, and famous (but not too famous)… all of that in exchange for my pledge to stop fighting it. No betrayal necessary, don’t have to get my friends killed… the machines just want me to stop fighting.

I mean, if I say no to this offer, the only reason will be that I think the deal is too good to be true. I’m gonna suspect there’s gotta be a catch hidden somewhere, and someone’s gonna get killed, their assurances otherwise nothwithstanding.

But if I truly believed that my friends and family won’t be hurt, and I could stop fighting and go back… I can’t say 100% that I’d say no.

I would tell them where to stick it while enjoying the steak & wine. Why? Because I am paranoid & in that situation that paranoia would be screaming at me. There’s no way in H-E-Double hockey sticls I’d believe for a second they’d actually do it. I also would have no way of knowing that they in fact did do it & didn’t just kill me & be done with it.

while i agree with you on the videos, scientists have established that 90s Aerosmith is the absolute worst music ever created ever. even worse than Bon Jovi. seriously. this was the beginning of the downslide that culminated with “Pink.”

IMO, PVC is okay, but as someone who sews a lot it’s a pain in the ass. As a piping product, it just doesn’t hold up in freezing temperatures, an important component here in Sun Valley, ID…how someone wearing PVC would fare during one of our -10 degree winter days is anyone’s guess…

Practicality aside (I mean, this is their self-image isn’t it?), isn’t skin-tight and shiny still hot? (edited to add, in the sexy way, I know that it would be not comfortable to wear…)

It’s not a desert island record for me, but I’ll take that over 90s Aerosmith any day. And it doesn’t sound bad over a jukebox in your local tavern.

Funny thing about when I watched that movie in theater.

I had an interview in the morning and being downtown (montreal) I’ve decided to go watch a movie and Matrix was on. So dressed in a black suit, black tie, white shirt with sunglasses because it was sunny and my walkman at the time (with the earplugs).

The funny part was when I got out, you should have seen the look on people faces watching me like … O my god its true! Or if I was some promotional guy for the movie.

It was pretty funny. But no one attacked me at least.
