ok, i’ve only listened in to around 18:00 or so, but wow, there’s an abundance of Romo love that I found SO surprising, especially how lame his whole story became in the last episode. Chuck thought Romo was getting BETTER and BETTER? wow. Hm. I guess I’m the only one who thought that? I actually kind of dislike Romo as a character now, and found his whole storyline with Lee in the last episode a bit of a waste of precious time. (sorry!)

anyway, back to listening.

hey guys. FYI : skulls has been racetrack’s ECO since she first appeared, I’m pretty sure he found new caprica with her.

also… I’m surprised you guys didn’t notice this… “Guy” sounds just like me and said the same thing I said in my fake spoilers thred/fanfic thread. :smiley:

another thing, in ‘water’ we learned that galactica recycles all of it’s waste, so the poo barge probably recycles toilet bolus into useable water and mulch for the spinny ship. ALSO, if they just airlocked the poo, every ship would be dirty from running into fecal waste — probably why they don’t have windows?

another note: in Nex Gen, there was the whole bridge crew that airlocked themselves when they caught the virus that made tasha frak data. :slight_smile:

mactopia: We take about five to ten calls a week out of about 40-50. If you don’t hear your call, it’s likely that others covered similar material – or we just ran out of time.

coco: I’m an unabashed Romo fan. Still am. :slight_smile:

TGpAL: We discussed whether or not to play your “guy” call, and decided to because it’s great stuff. Gotta love it.

Did this episode seem a little “plotty” to everyone? There was something a little scattered in the storytelling which didn’t seem very typical BSG.

I’m starting to think that everyone is completely delusional, like half the fleet is composed of characters in the other half’s heads. But which is which? :slight_smile:

I loved Voyager, the best startrek series. Kathryn Janeway was bad ass lost for 7 years with one ship come on…

For Sandy IF Picard was lost in the DELTA QUADRANT with no el gray he would have been emotional too.

For Chuck, i agree with you i didn’t like KES, but i liked her noncorporeal state so she won me over.

For Audra the show was slow at first but not as slow as Deep Space Nice OMG that show took 5 seasons to get somewhere good.

For Sean WATCH ALL OF THE EPISODES you will love it.

I can’t believe I never shared this over here.

There was a huge campaign run by one of my friends that we affectionately call the MORE ROMO campaign. This is a pic from a Thank You scrapbook that we created for the cast (the link to the rest of the pics from the scrapbook: http://forums.scifi.com/index.php?showtopic=2308572) - it contained all kinds of stories and posts from Skiffy, but it is the best pictures I have of the MORE ROMO campaign:

Many members of the cast (and not just the BSG cast, if you look closely one of those pics is the Firefly cast), writers, and fans held those signs up at numerous conventions and events for almost a year. Even Ron Moore himself held one at a book signing - his response to Mark: "Your fans are F-ing everywhere.

Now whether this had any impact on Mark returning to the show, I am not sure, but we like to think it did.

As for Jake, that was another fan run initaitive held on the Skiffy board. One Skiffy member inparticular made lots of animated gifs of Jake and his adventures (including some very funny ones with RDM’s own dogs).

Sadly that board member passed away over the winter and never got to see Jake back in the show. It was a sad, sad day when he passed away because he was one of those forum members that I think would have fit in well here, most didn’t agree with his views, but he was a dedicated friend and never attacked the person (the idea maybe, but not the person).

If you all want me to dig up the links to the threads on Skiffy let me know and I will - because they were classics
