Well that sucked. I had massive loosing games in both of my leagues. At least i didn’t hurt anyone for the season yet. Last year i had Brady as my QB and he had to go and get hurt on his opening drive.
Well, I eeked out my win over SeelixSeesAll this week. Darren McFadden pulled it out for me, putting me up by 2 points. My defense bailed me out BIG TIME, with 35 points. Thanks Philly D!

I’ve always thought it odd when geeks are described as not being into sports. I love Battlestar, Mass Effect, A Song of Ice and Fire, AND baseball and football.
I have to say how happy I am to play some fantasy football in a place where I’m sure most people would scratch their heads in wonder.
Yeah, I like football and basketball, and Indy car racing (they look cool) as well. Who was it that said, “Fantasy [sports] are Dungeons and Dragons for jocks?” The original quoter said baseball or football instead of sports. I forget. Personally, I think fantasy sports are more akin to a RTS. d:
I used to always say that Fantasy Football is Dungeons and Dragons for those that used to beat up the guys that play Dungeons and Dragons! lol!
The difference here is that spectatorship and being a sportman are two completely unrelated things. I don’t want to go out on the field and get tackled by Albert Haynesworth. But I like watching football.
Sports is competition of athletic prowess. But watching sports is simply an entertainment activity. It’s fun. And playing fantasy sports is not a proxy for actually playing sports, but rather the highest level of being a sports-watcher. The only way to make the experience of spectatorship better would be to put some money down on games.
On the menu bar on Your Team there’s a Trading Block menu. You can put players you’re willing to trade, positions you’re willing to trade, and those positions you want to get back in return. It’s a decent system for getting some trading going. I’ve got a block up now
