I know I received a trade offer, so mine appear to be working.
Sims-Walker reportedly missed bed check this past Friday night due to “a late-night rendezvous with a lady friend,” the Florida Times-Union reports. As a result, he was deactivated for Week 5’s loss to the Seahawks. He was punished for the infraction, so presumably, he’ll be back in the mix in Week 6. Judging by the 41-0 drubbing at the hands of Seattle, the Jags certainly could have used Sims-Walker, who entered Week 5 as the team’s most productive wideout.
So, lemme get this straight… Because he insert family friendly euphemism here (I’m still too bitter to think of a witty one) was more important than his million dollar contract, he burned his team and thousands of Fantasy players?
Doesn’t this mean all players are basically at risk (yes, I’m assuming most would do the same)?
Btw, gwensdad2003, be careful with Dennis Northcutt. I got burned picking Jerome Harrison after he had one stellar week.
Oh wait, you’re my opponent. (: (Now, watch Northcutt put up 27 points to spite my comment.)
P.S. No one has any interest in my players on the Trading Block? ):
I can’t view any of that from work but Hasselbeck’s bounce-back has me feeling much better about my team overall.
Which is not to say I couldn’t be interested in a productive tight end.
I made a few waiver moves and I hope they went well.
BGHN dropped Marcedes Lewis, Jac TE to Waivers
BGHN added Visanthe Shiancoe, Min TE from Waivers to Bench
BGHN dropped Shaun Hill, SF QB to Waivers
BGHN added Jamal Lewis, Cle RB from Waivers to Bench
I am a gambling man…I am putting in the Bucs Defense in hopes that they suddenly decide to not suck this weekend.
My opponent has 2 starters on byes today. I’ve emailed & pm’d. sigh Check your rosters peeps!
Yeah, I haven’t seen roosterpfunk69 in a while.
Ok, all of my players are not listed as out so far for the afternoon games. Everyone else checked?
I’m currently 93 vs 104 against Team of Intent Calamitous. But, I think the overnight adjustments will put us about 82 for me vs 107 for TIC.
Somehow Brian Westbrook has 14 points even though he only has 50 yards. We’ll see.
We have a few close games this week.
despite starting hasselbeck i still appear to have a chance as long as the denver d doesn’t get obliterated by nate kaeding.
i really need to stop acting like matt hasselbeck is a qb i can platoon.
Ouch at Hasselbeck’s point score. One thing I find weird about our league is that there are still a few quality QBs available. Not Mark Sanchez though, avoid him like the plague. It’s very tempting for me to drop everyone on his offense because he screws up so often.
Also, if you don’t want Visanthe Shiancoe, I’ll be happy to take him off your hands. (:
Edit: Ok, not really because I have no place for him. ):
P.S. I’m happy I was wrong about the overnight point shift. Don’t understand how Westbrook has so many points though.
I’m hoping that Keating will come through for me tonight! Jarathen & I are pretty close when I checked last night before I went to bed.
Big matchup. Denver D +5 points agains Nate Kaeding.
crosses fingers
Field Goals from Kaeding are NOT what I wanted. A Chargers TD would probably have been more with it in the long run.
But that Royal kickoff return was great.
Yeah, I expect Denver to win, but I want Orton to play more, not for the ST to score. d: If they get ahead to far too soon, he won’t be in the second half. d:
I’m in the league and Weekly Smack chats btw.
I got a chance
That was a great MNF game. Now the overnight shift before I feel comfortable (being burned by an overnight shift of 8 points sucks).
In either case, Team of Intent Calamitous and my Carts had a great match.
whistles at Starbuck Storm’s score
Sigh, fail
