For everyone going to the meet up, please consider making a donation on the Support link on the main page. Booking the meet up room and AV equipment for the viewing is going to cost the GWC Trinity a chunk of change. A few bucks each for each person going would be help defray some of the cost. I’ve already tested the Donation link out by making one.
They put a donation button on the main page, I did not see it. I am shocked I have begged then to do that more than once. I mean doing something for free is one thing but spending money when we all can add a little help is just to much. I will have to go back and check. If we all donate a little at least the GWC will not be so costly to our hosts.
Now I know why I missed it. I thought support was like how to get help if you are having problems with the forums. You need to make the donation button more easy to find. I have to get going to work so I will look at it more later.
Yeah it’s under the Support tab at the top right of the main page. Once you’re there it’s easy peasy. I’ve been wanting to be able to donate directly for a long time too.
Maybe they are independently rich and do not need the money. I think all of the meet up folks would chip in as much as we can.

LOL! I doubt that they are wealthy. Unless they won a lottery that they haven’t told us about. :rolleyes: It would be great if we could both donate ahead of the meet up and maybe take up a collection at the event too. Some people might not have a PayPal account.

Any time I have approached Chuck with donating money for the room or a donation button on the forums he turned down the idea.

Well I tried again last night, no dice. The problem is, they claim there are only a limited number of free seats available on flgihts & thos seats are gone. They very kindly offer to instead put $200 towards regular seats, but I can’t afford to pay the extra for the flight. So it looks to me at this point that I will not be joining you all. Because frankly, I don’t know what to say to these people & I just get mad & say stupid things.
My room is booked! I got one of those studio rooms that are technically one person, but come with a pull-out couch. So if anyone still needs a bunk, PM me.
