I agree, since its story structure is so different and it reminds me of The Constant with its emotional impact, it is also one of my favorites.
How about Subject 13 that aired this week. Wow, I think this show gets better and better. As much as I love Lost, it seems like Fringe is doing a little better job tying earlier ideas and episodes together. I really loved this episode and am holding strong that it will get renewed for another season!
I liked “Peter” and welcome another 1985 episode but I would not rank the ep among the series’ beset. I loved the reveal at the end [spoiler] that Walternate figured out where Peter went and who took him because Olivia accidentally crossed over and thought Walternate was Walter.[/spoiler]
I did not love the degree to which they implied that Olivia and Peter are meant for each other. I like their relationship and I like the show’s general take on the role of fate but I felt like “Peter” pushed the limits on that.
It did remind me of “The Constant,” but it rang slightly discordantly for me.
Ya know what I want–I want a Monster of the Week episode!

Yeah…that [spoiler]3rd[/spoiler] universe theory has been floating around for some months. Wonder if it’ll come true since in some episodes there was much yellow things in it like blue/red ones in the first 2 seasons.
