Frak the pigeon - who's Laura's "blind" date

I mean c’mon. Isn’t this at least as interesting as a flying rat?

Thoughts? Is the name an alias for the sleazy President Adar?

If not, who then? And what it the significance to the story and character?

By the way Adama’s one hour mission very well may be
taking Tigh to the strip club to (re)meet Ellen. Now, if so, talk about questions raised - like what was the role of the most senior military officers of The Colonies in this entire mess?
Then again I may be WAY off the mark on this one - per ususal.

I missed this completely, but I just found the clip and while it doesn’t confirm it completely, the officers do introduce themselves as Officer Stephanie and Officer Sean.

Which, is an amazing catch (WTG THX), regardless if it turns out to be a coincidence or not.
I’d be interested if Adama was a replacement for the person she’s supposed to go on a date with (ie the guy Adama was talking to and the person on the phone Laura was talking to are going out together, and the guy’s original choice for a fourth for the double date bailed or something)
Now I’m just reaching.

Impressive.

At first I confused the “blind” date with Wallace Gray from the election days. But the name give was Sean Allison. I don’t think we’ve heard that before. But here is a picture of Sean Allison.

Would somebody please tell me what’s going on? I mean, I still don’t know who are The Lords of Kobol, and we’re getting introduced to new characters with 2 hours left.

Ok, help me out here. I got the impression (not sure why) that this blind date was a younger man. Anyone else?

Thanks Pan and Old Timer!!!
it’s just odd to have the name Sean come up in anything thats not set in Ireland and then to have come up twice! it just stood out to me. (I bet the guy thats not Chuck on th podcast caught it to.)

I just watched the Recap on scifi.com (or is it Syfy.com)

In it they say “Adama is strong armed into taking an interview for a desk job” as the meaning of the Admirals flashback…Hmmmmmm

I just read the skiffy recap and it says that the admirals are sending Adama out to Galactica for decommissioning before his retirement. Now why that needs to be shown (as opposed to him being on the ship as she comes in from her last voyage…)

Hmmmm is right. Certain coincidences may need to happen to get the “right” people off Caprica before the attack. Bill. Laura. Lee. Pulling the strings or fate?

is it weird that the video recap says one thing and recap you read says something else about the same scene?

I agree with “right” people having to be off planet before the “fall”
I can’t wait for “The Plan” !!!

A vivid illustration of how the network does not care as much about this show as do its viewers (a/k/a customers).

I heard it was a younger man

As to flashbacks: I think the point is to show the depth of Cavil’s penetration & manipulation. Too late in the game, if you ask me, and it’ll suck resources from the end’s ending well

Could it be Billy? No, that’s too wierd.

Way too weird. Snap out of it!

(Speaking of weird - Maybe it’s the pigeon from the other flashback?)

Tks, I needed that.

nay. the pigeon is Kara the white!

“Frak the pigeon”

Baltar: Do we have time?

what if its president adar? in some odd attempt to get her to join his campaign? …iono

LOL

Good one!

I don’t think that it’s Adar, but it’s probably someone who would use guilt to get her in the campaign so that she would hope to help students by becoming Secretary of Education.
