What if the blind date was Doral?
I just heard on the local radio that a local fugitive is on the loose. His name; Sean Ellison.
I think we can consider this question answered!
As funny as your bunny self is, on my second watch of the episode it sounded like “Ellison” to me, not “Allison.”
I’m going by what the Battlestar Wiki said. I haven’t watched with the subtitles yet.
If BW is incorrect, she’s going out with a relative of Harlan Ellison?
Just watch out for that chiseled out stone doughnut. DON"T WALK THROUGH THE MIST!!!
I know that there area few of us here who get the reference.
Clearly, it’s an anagram. If the name was “Sean Ellison”, she has a date with “A Loneliness”. Now that’s just sad. 
OTOH, if it’s “Sean Allison”…? Yep, a blind date with “Anal Lesions”!
She’s better off with loneliness, if you ask me.
Refresh my memory. When and in what context was Sean said? I don’t remember.
It could be “IANAL Lesson” in which Laura learns that her date is not a lawyer, despite offering advice. That could be gripping cinema.
That’s what I figured.
So in the phone conversation Laura is having just prior to eating her sushi, someone is trying to tell her that she doesn’t go out and it’s the same person who has been trying to get her to join Adar’s campaign. So she makes a deal, if the person stops harassing her about the campaign, she will go out on a date. So then the person starts telling her about her date, Sean.
The conversation goes a little something like this:
Laura: “Aww. Sean, I like that name.” Sean Ellison (Allison?)? Hmm. That sounds familiar…" Blah, blah, blah. Bye!" After she hangs up the phone, she looks thoughtful and then kinda slumps over.
Previously in flashbacks:
Laura answers the door to two Caprican City Police Officers, a woman and a man. The first officer (female) introduces both of them.
“Laura Roslin?” “I’m Officer Stephanie and this is Officer Sean, may we have a word with you, blah, blah, blah?”
So we don’t know what Officer Sean’s last name is. If it was Ellison/Allison then the theory is that she realized who he was, had a sudden memory of her terrible morning and kinda collapsed.
Lately, I’ve been thinking that little moment may have had more to do with her cancer, than realizing who her date was???
If you can’t wait for SyFy to post the episode - a chip in my head told me that you might be able to find something somewhere on the internet.
