I so need these Firefly frak Saturdays. BSG Fridays have been so depressing and stressful… so this is just what I need to lift the gloom off of me for the week.

This is exactly why I like Linux. I like a product that is reasonably confusing just to install in the first place. It’s like a built-in minimum IQ test for a product… you must be at least this not stupid to use this product!
Just barely. Two eps a week, followed by the movie, takes us up to the week before the BSG finale.
And what do I use to wash My Little Pony Thursdays off of my mind? BSG isn’t depressing enough, you feel the need to precede it with the Evil Ponies?
Yeah it sux. We had a breach the other week. Some person called in from the outside and used a user’s name to reset the password of the account. The Helpdesk reset the password and voila a breach. Email was sent from the account to the CEO, real nasty stuff too. Poor person almost got fired.
When we wiped my dad’s old pc, we installed linux. Then we gave it to my 14 yr old cousin. Poor kid couldn’t figure out what the hell to do with it! :rolleyes:

Fortunately, our system has no outside users, only us internally. We’re a central monitoring station for alarm companies, so the data is super protected. And only 6 of us have any access to even the lowest of admin stuff. The majority of our monitors don’t even have authorization to change the time on their pcs.
At the moment, it looks like two.
