“beaumout”? You lost me there with that reference.
Liv Tyler is so exquisite in this
The movies did a good job of working the Aragorn/Arwen story in. It got banished to the appendices in the books.
A lady with a sword. Watch out Ranger.
sorry, should’ve been two words: BEAM OUT
Steven Tyler shoulda been in the movie too.
This is my favorite part of the film, climaxing with the River.
I loved that the movie showed us the love between them. Just greaT.
You know, call me a weirdo, but I never really got on the Liv Tyler bandwagon. She’s pretty enough, I guess, but I never got all bent out of shape over her like a lot of guys do.
This is one of few casting screw-ups they made. I don’t know how Aragorn could choose Liv Tyler’s Arwen over Miranda Otto’s Eowyn.
I think he should have had them fight for his attention.
I got my books just before they put shots from the movies on the covers, so the water horses are on the cover of the first one.
I was searching through the data recorders also.
That’s great, Lady D.
Am i ahead now or are we at rivendell?
Got it. We snuck around the back rooms of the museum found nothing interesting, and then exited the building from a secret exit. And then used our ticket stubs to enter again at the front entrance.
In the book it was Gilgelad who saved Frodo.
oh there’s disc 1
good thing you guys are almost through it
Liv is so gorgeous, with the elf lighting she looks amazing. But I agree I would have chosen Miranda also.
though some say it’s the standard against which all badness is measured
It’s a change I can forgive. He wasn’t that important in the book, and they needed to work Arwen into the story more.
I’m at Frodo waking up at Rivendell
Where was it?
