When the cast was first announced, Stuart Townsend was the one actor I was concerned about. He just seemed too young and pretty to convincingly play Aragorn. Mortensen looks appropriately weathered.
life is pain, sweetie
Viggo came up with the music for the Lay of Luthien himself.
Isn’t it Peter Jackson or Fran Walsh screaming?

I need my pain!!

Don’t mess with the trees.
I dragged my wife (and the kids) to see Fellowship in the theaters. To this day, the only thing she really remembers is the concept of second breakfast.
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, I read The Hobbitt and the Ring Trilogy back to back. It took me 5 days. I did nothing but read and only very briefly did I sleep. Oh must have eaten, but I don’t remember doing so. I was in Middle Earth completely. What an experience.
Peter Jackson accomplished something to be proud of. (Bad grammar).
I wish I was there. Did you do the sound effects?
Yeah, he’s gonna regret being mean to the trees.
watch out, he’s quoting V
Exactly like I pictured Amon Sul. Really, I can’t say enough about the production design.
A good reason to go green if there ever was one
Of course. And then we went into the “No Admittance: Museum Staff Only” door, because we were on a “mission” as we would call it.
How cool.
You’re totally right.
This is why I love GWC.
I was thinking the same thing. You beat me to it.
I read them back-to-back also. Took me 2 months though. I was working. A fellow geek and I were having a conversation about Led Zeppelin and he said, “The Depths of Mordor.” I looked at him strange. He said, “You’ve never read Lord of the Rings?” I said, “No.” He shook his head and said, “There should be laws.” I received the box set for Christmas.
looking for a safe location for beamout?
Mortenson had only been ini New Zealand for a few days when he did this fight scene on Weathertop.
It had it’s moments.
Yeah I got it bad.
Ah. Liv Tyler.
