This kind of counts, so I’m putting it in this section.

Anyway, I’m not a huge Family Guy fan, but I watch it when it comes on. This season’s premier is a one hour tribute to Star Wars’ 30th Anniversary and it looks really funny. If it’s half as good as the Robot Chicken special, it will be hilarious. And word on the street is that if it does well, they might get to do the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It airs this Sunday.

Funny thing is that Seth Green is the producer of Robot Chicken AND the voice of Chris on Family Guy. They were working on both of these Star Wars episodes at the same time, so there was a lot of back and forth to make sure that they weren’t making the same jokes.

I knew that he works on both, but that’s good to hear that they won’t be stepping on each other’s toes when it comes to the jokes.

No, it airs this Sunday, as in tomorrow. Nobody’s missed it… not yet at least.

Well, you might just be in luck. For my local affiliate, it’s 9:00 ET. I’m pretty sure all stations play it at the same time.

lol I don’t think Greedo shot at all. The bit with John Williams was hilarious. And I loved the cameos by Rush and Chevy Chase (I’m a huge fan of the Griswold’s). I think the funniest part though was when they went to hyperspace, oh man, who comes up with that stuff? Brilliant. lol

Yup, it was indeed sweet. I especially loved the reference to the Doctor Who retro-time-tunnel effect.

The ratings were very good (best since show’s return in 2005) and according to TVWeek odds are that we’ll get an ESB special next year. There was already talk about doing it if the ratings were good.

Wow. This is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in some time. I about pissed myself numerous times watching it. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to catch it before it’s gone.

Man, i loved those Airplane! references, my favorite comedy film of all time (shortly6 followed by the life of Brian).

The whole episode was just great and I liked how they included a good mix of references rather than just a whole show of star wars jokes.
