Are those the second 2 jump bridge patches you’re referring to?
Who knows. It’s always a crap shoot as to what they’ll have to fix after a big patch.
I know the dev blogs were talking about changing the jump bridge system, and the first of 3 patches hit a couple of weeks ago that made anything with a jump drive unable to use a bridge. They were going to restrict it to one bridge per system in one of the next patches, so I guess I need to find out when so I’ll know when to log on and go rebookmark our whole frakkin network.
Thursday I believe.

Holy crap, this is pure win!!!
“Bookmarks can now be added to overview. Hopefully this should allow you to get to your safespots quicker so you can mock people in local from relative safety.”
It’s the patch after next, but I’ll take it:)
Part of me wants to reactivate my Eve account just to mine…it any other game in the world that would sound crazy.
That sounds pretty crazy to me even in Eve.
I’ve got 5 days free I’ll probably reactivate next week sometime. Well mostly to look at it on the computer I built between periods of play and cause I’ll have free time sadly.
I found mining calming…I was also drunk when I wrote that but it still stand.
That’s what I’m doing. 60 days for $20 is too good a deal.

Someone frapsed one of the preliminary matches in the alliance tournament. It’s a good fight, pretty close. Too bad CCP isn’t putting them up on youtube until the later rounds.
From Facebook:
http://www.eve-radio.com/component/kunena/6-scheduled-lineup/15-re-spuffy-and-sam-talk-to-ian-chisholm#29
“Ian Chisholm, the creator and director of the award-winning Clear Skies machinima series has agreed to chat to Spuffy and Sam on Tuesday 31st May at 21:00 game time. We’ll chat about the movies and their creation, the methods and work that goes into it and take a few questions from listeners.”
Looks like you can listen from:

What time is that IRL?
Eve time is UTC, which i think is like GMT with or without the daylight savings time nonsense. So whatever time it is in Reykjavik, Iceland. I think 2100 Eve is 4pm central US.
I’ll try to post a recording if one is available. I had trouble understanding the interview sometime because the background music was too loud when Ian was speaking.

I dunno how long the link will stay up, so I’m providing a couple of links.

I recommend getting the direct download at:
http://listen1.completegamer.net:8004/content/Spuffy_2011-05-31-1859.mp3 (Right-click and Save As)
166 MB, 3 hours, 1 minute, 23 seconds (181:23) in length.
The interview starts 110 minutes (1 hour, 50 minutes) and 56 seconds into the file.
Again, I recommend getting/listening to this ASAP. I dunno how long the file will stay up.
Linked on EVE’s facebook page. Love the miner animations. (: But truthfully, most of these are cool.
EVE Online - Incarna Animated Turrets
Those are gonna look so cool when you’re zoomed out all the way, with effects and brackets turned off and getting 1 frame every 8-10 seconds.
I guess with the Drone Russians tearing through the Tribute snapping up tech moons and Goons/CF standing idly by while the north burns, all those sanctum whores are going to need something shiny to look at when they run screaming back to empire.
Can I please have my drones assignable to an F key now?
EVE Spotlight: An interview with Clear Skies creator Ian Chisholm

Interesting bit for me:
“Having motion capture technology meant I could push the interior action as well, so of course I went for a gunfight scene. It wasn’t gratuitous, either, as it directly led to an important plot point and story moment. That was a hoot to perform the motion capture for, and I want people to know that I actually pulled off Charlie’s shotgun move. Of course I used a table leg rather than an actual firearm, which makes it a bit less cool but somewhat less dangerous in the studio.”
