Still 3 or 4 months of development to go, there will be a full trailer in March if all goes to plan. CS3 has been taking a lot longer than I anticipated, partly due to the amount of New Stuff we are doing, but also partly because it’s simply a longer film! Nearly there!

So how you guys doing in New Eden?
I’ve had an exciting week, as you guys may or may not know or care, IT Alliance has ceased operations and will not be defending it’s space. Unfortunately, the internal friction between the new guard and the old BoB corps was too much, and about half the alliance went emo and quit after months of infighting withholding combat forces.
The barbarian hordes are now dividing up our old homeland, an the member corps that have stuck it out to the end are moving out. We (Maverick Navy) moved to Curse for lots of wild west style action, and we got it. Fights were had, local was smacked, ships were killed and ships were lost. We got news from out leadership yesterday that we’ll be joining Against All Authorities (-A-) and moving to the Catch region.
I’m really excited, so much so that I just downloaded some Russian language podcasts:)
Man. I actually rooted for BoB/IT in the whole alliance wars. Though, I don’t participate since I’m an empire whore.
I actually threw my jump clones in stasis and hung up my pod on Friday. It was almost two years to the day since I started, and I found I just wasn’t playing much anymore. I’m going to see if the hiatus makes me miss it…
My last day (this time) was Feb. 3rd. I got my first EVE itch earlier today.
Went to Gamespot yesterday and a sales rep tried to convince me to give STO a try. But, Gamestop.com’s reviews doesn’t inspire me.
I got the collectors edition of STO when it came out because I wanted a TOS enterprise model (Very cool btw) and DS:9 uniform options. But… in the end it didn’t do it for me. I think I still have the “invite a friend for a free trial” cards somewhere. I can try and dig them out if you’re interested.
In the end, STO didn’t have the complexity of space battles that EVE had, or the simple elegance of away missions that WoW had in PvE, so I let it go (Bennet). And back then it was as buggy as hell…
If I’d known that, I would have asked if I could have your stuff. 
I might take you up on the offer, but yeah. I don’t think STO is enriching enough fro me. So, I kinda don’t wanna try.
But, how long is the trial?

I gave in to impulse (heh) and got an STO account. I’m curious how long I’ll stick with it.

The ending has me a bit worried regarding in-station death. d:
I just watched it a little bit ago, and I can’t really believe you’ll be able to kill someone in a station. I could be wrong though, and it would be on more reason for me to stay out of empire.
Just as I was thinking you’d be safe in 0.0 stations because neutrals/hostiles can’t dock, you’d also have your corp/alliance mates running around shooting everyone. I can imagine that becoming an ingame fps.
For the past three years, they’ve always said there will be no in station fighting/combat. This video was the first hint that they’ve changed their minds or expected such a “feature” in the future.
And, you have a valid point. But also keep in mind that if players can die in station, we empire players just won’t leave our captain quarters…or pods even.

EVE Fanfest 2011: New Nebulaes
Well, my first PVP operation experience consisted of sitting 300k klicks off a gate for 2 hours waiting for someone to attack the fleet’s bait Drake and no one biting.
At least I didn’t lose one of my “Redshirt” frigates.
Bummer, sorry your first time wasn’t more fun. Don’t give up though, it does get very exciting.
Btw, Drakes make horrible bait.
