“The thing is the word. Know the word, and you control the thing.”
I have not read the books, I have no idea how faithful this is to the book.
The armor is realistic and not flashy…
Irons is one of the few bright spots in this…
The music is not bad…
The structures all look old and lived in, and with crude woodwork and thatched roofs. A nice touch.
Ahh shes so cute…
If you love a thing you must let it go…
Just walk on in, poke through his belongs… sheesh.
Sorry I’m late. Time check?
Better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.
Jeremy Irons gets a lot of work out of these kinds of movies, but usually as a villain. Nice change of pace.
Beautiful countryside,… wait. Wasn’t it just raining? And now its clear…?
The weather changes at the speed of plot.
I thought feathers was a nice change from the regular bat wings…
“A rider will live on if his dragon dies, but if a rider dies…”
“…so does his dragon.”
This is the kind of thing I didn’t like about this story. Dragons are so subservient to humans that they die if their master does? WTF?
Why do evil underlings always have to have bad hygine and teeth?
I felt it gave them a type of ‘achilles heel’, a rare vulnerability that made them less overwhelming. I kind of liked it, a different type of bonding… Different from the Pern type.
To differentiate them from the blond pretty boy hero.
The Brisingr arrow was a nice effect.
