A great website to do a side-by side comparison of starships from different origins.
Never realized that the new Battlestar Galactica was twice bigger than the original

Wow. I didn’t realize how small Constitution Class, Enterprise is compared to Galactica (new version)
Hey that is cool and all…where is the Pegasus??? That is my favorite looking Battlestar!!!
The Death Stars are big.
I always hated the way Pegasus looked - possibly because it represented Admiral Cain.
I love stuff like this. I can totally avoid getting any work done in order to focus on the relative sizes of fictional space ships.
That Bell X-1 was like a time warp. I remember being a child looking at that safety orange craft in books. Whoa.
I flew a B-29 that carried it to drop altitude on one of its tests. (I just made that up.)
Wonder where they got the length of TOS Galactica. Information I am finding shows it to be around 1200 meters.
I wonder if they’ve figured out its girth…
Cylons would know…IYKWIM
Where’s serenity?
I was worried for a moment there that this thread would fail to go into the gutter on page one…
What do you mean? The thread title was already dangling into the gutter…
That’s why I was worried.
Gotcha… I just figured you expect all threads to hit gutter by 10 posts.
Then again there’s nothing like a link to a site with cool space ships and technical speficications to keep a bunch geeks’ minds pure…
That was fun. Thanks Yorick
Will missmuffet I can understand where you are coming from… and I have to say when I first saw it I wasn’t all that pleased with it. But I don’t know… I got to like it’s size and look… and I really loved those 4 hanger bays.
And perhaps by then, it was commanded by Lee Adama… and not so much the ole ship of Cain.
That’s pretty cool. Galactica and a Star Destroyer are about the same size. Both way bigger than a Galaxy or Sovereign
My question exac-T-ly. No Serenity = Fail.
