Does size matter?

But Star Destroyers have 37000 crew members while Galactica has like 3000.
Star Destroyers must be crowded.

that has a large variety of ships, including serenity

Unless everyone in the Empire is really small. Maybe the Star wars universe is comprised of nothing but midgets…and ewoks are even more midgety

Another great site with star ship/ sci fi related sizes. From the smallest (tardis) to the largest the Ringworld (Nivens) and a Dyson Sphere. Also if you use IE you can drag the ships around and compare them

EDIt: Note the site has not been updated in awhile and it is sorely lacking BSG ships. But it does have tons of Star Trek ships and also lots of Star Wars ships. And the Cloverfield monster

“Aren’t you kind of short for a Storm Trooper?”

Nice, thanks for this site. It seems that Serenity is about the size of a 747.

Staying on the size matter, here’s another interesting post on Darth Mojo’s blog about the size of the Colony. It was big, frakkin’ big. Or pretty, pretty, pretty big as Larry David would say.

Seeing as “Does Size Matter” is the name of this thread, I figured I was safe. And after all, how can we really answer the question if we don’t have all the information at hand? Pencil…ship?

The first reply could have just said “Yes.”

IYKWIM

Pegasus, 4 hangar bays. Ever wondered how they get from the ceiling to the floor?

Some sort of flippy thingy?

imagine how they came up with ways to move around the ship for the tiny federation ships. and on the new Galactica they seems to be walking everywhere.
