Have I missed something or am I right in assuming that there are no copies of the final 5 Cylon(s)…?
If this is true why have they not addressed it? why has no-one asked “hey are there more Tighs running about somewherE?”
in fact who is in any position to know? cylons did not know what the 5 looked like (Apart from Cavil) and humans certainly didnt…so there can be some somewhere…right?

FF have no copies, as far as we know. And yes, I agree, it’s strange that no one has asked either way. And who would know? Probably only Ellen is my guess. Guesses, guesses, all guesses. Ain’t it fun.
Well yes there were copies. How else would Ellen resurrect. Now are there anymore after the hub was destroyed that’s an open question. From what has been mentioned if they still exist they are in a special restricted area that only the Centurions and John have access to.

Cavil would appear to have some spare FF bodies lying around, for resurrection/let me torment you some more purposes. But there’s not reason to think there are multiple Tories in the same way there are many 8’s or 6’s. No Boomer-Tory and Athena-Tory, just Tory. FF were born, not made.
He (Cavil) had planned on teaching them a lesson. You’d think that he had extra FF’s lying around when they died so he preach at them.
I think it’s like having one hard drive, and several identical computers. If the computer dies, you pull the hard drive (soul) and put in a new exact copy of the original computer. Of course, without a ressurection hub, and without another soul, the point is moot. They’re essentially just biological dolls.
So that brings a new point. Do cylons have souls? If so, did the Final Five essentially create the souls?

i would think there were copies, because we see Ellen resurrect, but we shouldn’t–that’s what the Hub was for–and it is gone.

Ok, yes, and I’m confused - again.
At the time of Ellen’s resurrection (just right after New Caprica), the Hub was still there. I’ve always thought of the resurrection process as that they do have bodies lined up for the ‘souls/datastream’ of a cylon to download into, but the bodies are probably non descript ones, and not ones that already look like the individual models. If the datastream is anything like DNA, then that will dictate what the body would end up looking like in the downloading process.
So, Cavil wouldn’t need an random extra Ellen body for her to download into. It’s more about whether or not your datastream was set to be uploaded into the system at the hub for you to be able to download.
At least, that’s what I think.

No, I don’t think so. Remember during The Hub when Helo, random 8, and newly unboxed D’Anna were escaping the Hub. Helo stops to look at a bunch of 8s in tanks. Those 8s weren’t in the process of downloading, they were waiting for the eventuality. But there would be none of that as Cavil had cut the rebels off from resurrection.
Sides, changing a body from one genome to another would be impossible. The DNA’s all over the place, placed there by itself during the growth process. It’d be easier to grow a new one.
There are spare bodies, but I think its safe to assume there arent multiple copies. But the bodies are probably kept in secret places so Cavil can greet them and tell them how flawed their whole thing was blahblahblah
