yeah. but I could go for a little less rain!!!

I have pepper plants that are only a foot tall, putting out peppers already cause they think they are going to die soon. and tomato plants that are really unhappy with their feet being wet all the time…

although my cucumbers and bean stalks are MASSIVE! and the lettuce has not given up yet… and by now it should have died in the heat…

over here on the East side of PA, north of philly, we had like 3 days of no rain in june… but it has not rained yet in July… so …

We went to a place called FAB CAFE in Manchester, then out dancing at Jilly’s

The second date was much more sedate, we just went out for Thai food :slight_smile: YUM!

Cool. I never made it to Jilly’s. I only had 1 day in Manchester. so OF COURSE i had to ride the little eye… it was cool… and had lunch in a little pub right near there that had been a pub since like 1687… so thats where i got my fish and chips… I was actually working out in Bollington, so the Thai I had was at a place called the Bay leaf. then walked up the hill to the red lion pub.

BTW… the Law, as mentioned above, is ,…well… to be polite… Third date = third Base…(to use an Americanism) first base would be kissing… Second base would be…you get the idea…

I’ve never been on the little eye, I don’t trust it. The pub you went to was the Old Wellington? You know they moved that 10 years ago? Very nice little place, but if you didn’t get the oysters at Sinclairs, you missed out!

Well, I didn’t end up making it to the downtown fireworks, but I had a good time at a party with some friends, shooting off stuff in the backyard. All the kids in the neighborhood were out on the street setting off firecrackers, and it got pretty smoky out for a while. Kids and fireworks. Yeah. Good times.

sigh I cannot believe this has lingered unreplied to for so long.

Sent a query and partial of my MS to a lit agent today. Actually got an email reply that she received them and that my letter (re-done after getting feedback from her last week) was “great!!!” (she put the !!!)
Nice to get a positive nod after all the rejections these last few months.

I got my hair cut. It is a little shorter than I expected but it is nice and cool for the summer.
