GR graduating NM go to school. Oh this is fantastic.
If I went back to school it would be to be able to train animals. I can do well with dogs but do not have any kind of certification. I can not seem to find any school that does anything less than a doctorate in animal behavior. I have a BA and a Med. already. Maybe when I retire. I have a great deal of background since I am a teacher I have had a great deal of behavioral management and psychology courses.

Pay in money is low but you can save some people from the pain you went through.
There is a program on BBC-A about a woman to man change. I watch about 20 minutes of it and had to stop. I will finish it since I want to learn but the man was so depressed and it saddened me so that I had to take a break.

academia’s that way too - professors (even tenured ones) don’t make nearly the amount of money most non-academia people think they do. and contingent faculty? it’s inhumane.
Not to mention the bang for their buck that they save out of having graduate students teach. It’s good for me, because it’s better on the job market to have more varied teaching experience, but I have no illusion as to why the university agrees to it.

Absolutely, I want to help trans people specifically yeah, I had support going through my change, so many people don’t, suicide rates are high, and I know how that feels.

I had an anorexic rabbit once. I was told that rabbits are like goldfish–they’ll eat themselves to death if you keep feeding them. But I’d fill his bowl with food in the morning and come back the next day, and it’d still be full. He was kinda psycho anyway. He growled at me a lot (yes, rabbits growl), and I still have a scar on the back of my right hand where he scratched me once real deep.
Ah, good times, good times.
Anyway, Thursday night, my short film, a three-minute trailer for my documentary, will be screening along with the other entries in the Coming Up Shorts competition. If my external hard drive hadn’t taken a dive off a table a couple months ago, I’d have the movie file to post to YouTube for you all to see. So I guess you’ll all just have to cross your fingers and toes, think good thots, wishes, prayers, etc, and I’ll let you know on Friday if I won or not.

The Mrs. had a preliminary job interview today. Hoping a follow up will happen tomorrow and that she’ll have a new job by the end of the week. I want fingers crossed at factor 5 people!

Alas, while she was interviewing with the agency yesterday the actual employer was having a phone interview with another candidate (from the same agency) whom they’ve liked enough to ask to come in in person on Monday. Here’s hoping this person is socially awkward and has nasty B.O. and offensive beliefs that they can’t keep to themselves!
