My Karma points are going up. I went and helped out at Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. They are rebuilding a house in my town so i got to go and help. I put a bed together and moved boxes. It was pretty nifty.
i found out today that i passed my prescreening audition at one of the major US conservatories for precollege!!! (don’t wanna say which one, too personal.) i was invited to do a live audition. on one hand - yay! on the other… crap now im really screwed. gotta go practice…

the giant paper that has been ruling my life for the past few weeks is done, beautiful, and ready to turn in in the AM. I am very happy.
Now I just have to study for the rest of my exams… but after writing this behemoth I feel like I can do anything
So I’m going to this Jonathan Coulton concert tonight (oh right! get the tickets out of the desk!) and Neil Gaiman is going, too. I’m trying not to hyperventilate since the concert is still 14 hours away.
Is Gaiman going with you, or will he just be there? Cool, regardless.
I’m a Gaiman fan back in the day, and now my I’m raising my kids in Gaiman-ship. We’re just getting into his excellent The Dangerous Alphabet picture book. I saw him read at a book store when he published the Goldfish book. Cool cat.

Congratulations. Since I work at one of the two major conservatories that have pre-colleges (it is just Peabody and Juilliard, right? Or does Eastman have a pre-college division as well?) I’d certainly be curious to learn which one you’re at. The centurion will be by to pick you up for your iPod torture, Baltar style. (Ve have our vays of makink you talk.)
