Well, I knew my sister-in-law was pregnant. But they just found out this morning that it will be twins.
Sister-in-law. They are joining a big brother who is 2 1/2.
So i know its a late add, but i’m always late to the party… but i did just get my very own copy of Season 3 of BSG a couple days ago.
And that definitely deserves a prominent place in this thread

I saw season 2.5 at Target for 18.99 the other day. Looks like they more or less have each season on some kind of sale:
Oh the buyers remorse sets in as i jsut bought 2.0 and 2.5 a couple weeks ago spending over 80 for the pair. Stupid Best Buy. And stupid Sci Fi for not putting the two together or at least selling them cheaper than the full seasons.

My friends child just graduated from the Criminal Justice Institute. No, not jail he will be a police officer. They grow up so fast.
Finally took the plunge and bought a macbook last night (and used the academic promotion to get a free iTouch). Now, I’ve got to transfer 9 years of PC living back to a mac world…
My dad got his now car today. The one with the LPG engine. I have to say, it’s the typical mid-life crisis car for an elementary teacher: red, shiny, made in Italy.
I had to move the premiere of a major (as in 50-minutes for choir, soloists and orchestra) work from June (where it’d already been moved from February) to next October. But, it’s all good news because it means that I can have not just THAT work performed, but also the 15 minute orchestral piece that is a companion piece to it, forming a five section cycle. And that kind of performance rarely happens for a concert composer, let alone one at my stage of career development. I also found out that a piece that is being premiered at the end of this month will be recorded before the end of the academic year for eventual commercial release (read: it needs to be shopped around to labels or self-released, either way it’ll take a while). Almost makes up for being totally broke! Whoot!
