So I’m standing in the kitchen. The two-year-old is buzzing around. She says, “I have to get to work!” Then she runs to the utensils drawer, pulls out a mellon baller, and whacks me in the junk with it. I wish she didn’t take her work so seriously.
It’s January 6th, so I received my BSG 4.0 DVDs! I think it took about 5 minutes from picking up the UPS box on my porch to having a DVD playing.
I hope that you were all able to receive your DVDs in a timely manner!
Okay here’s what I need to know:
Are there commentary tracks on those episodes that Ron Moore did not do a podcast for?
I guess that would be Sine Qua Non and Guess What’s Coming to Dinner?

i recently received a few late holiday gifts. one is a tshirt that says “Greetings from Caprica City” , and has a picture of the caprica city skyline. that should work for the new show as well:-). also the bsg board game! im waiting until I have a few people over on january 16th for a frak party to play. but i opened it and it looks… alright.
I went and got mine at Best Buy (but I opted not to get the Best Buy exclusive edition with Starbuck dogtags and a “Character Profile” book). Went through the special features on disc 4 but haven’t gone through the episodes yet.
I also got my new video camera today. It’s meant to record concerts and put together audition tapes, but it will also serve as recorder of first steps and so on. Just don’t tell the IRS.

Sine Qua Non has a commentary by RDM and Michael Taylor.
All of the others are marked as podcast commentaries.

I tell ya, there’s really nothing I enjoy more than relaxing with a glass of scotch and listening to an RDM commentary.

ive been seeing alot of ads for bsg lately!
its so exciting, on nytimes.com, on ny1.com, on facebook (i gave it a thumbs up rating), on sparknotes! at a local telephone booth. its really coming back soon. for those who have said they’ll only believe it when they sit down to watch it day of… idk. it sure seems as though we’re really getting 4.5. 9 days
Probably the best place to put this, and yeah, NBC/Skiffy seems to have gotten the concept of “marketing” at least on a basic level.
I’ve seen them too, and they make me happy
I finally found a buddy who:
a) watches BSG
b) has cable/dish and a DV-R
c) lives near me.
So I’ll get to watch BSG on TV this season! Woo-hoo!
